Hello everyone, I hope y’all are doing okay today.  It looks and feels like Fall has finally made it to our neck of the woods and it sure is getting darker earlier and earlier these days.  That’s okay, after the long hot Sumer we had here we’re all ready for a bit of Fall.

Anyways, today I just wanted to mention two reminders. 

Tomorrow is Talk Like a Pirate Day and since if falls on Tabby Tuesday Simon will be having the pirate fun.  I must say though, it wasn’t easy to convince him to wear a pirate hat.  But, a little birdie told me that it could be done.  Actually, it was a bit bigger birdie and he will be joining Simon for the festivities tomorrow too.

  7. Happy Monday, Brian! It’ll be fun to see Simon and the pirate hat. :-)

    As for fall…I’m NOT ready for it. Too close to winter and in this part of Canada, winters are brutal most of the time. So let’s have a LONG fall, please!

    Yes, I’ve noticed the evenings are getting shorter. There is change in the wind, too. This weekend at times I felt autumn teases in the cooler night temperatures. I actually felt a bit chilled. I didn’t complain, though. It’s a nice break from the heat. I won’t like it when old man winter pushes in, though. Thank you fur your words of comfort in the lost of my daddy. It took becoming a parent to fully appreciate my own and it was only then that my heart was more forgiving of mistakes made. I wish I had the chance to tell Daddy that I’m sorry for being such a stupid teenager. Although, I know he understood this better than I , I did tell Mommy that I wish I could’ve told him and she assured me they both understood having raised three of their own and adopting three. They definitely qualify as teen experts in my opinion. I’m blessed to have had such a special Daddy. I know he’s at peace in heaven free from earthly worries & pain. Blessings to you, my little furriend!
