Hello everyone, here we go starting off another new week again. It really is hard to believer that come Sunday September will be gone and we will be into October. It does feel like Fall around here, finally, and before too long our leaves will be falling too. Then we will be into Snuggle Season. We do like the snuggle part of that season.
Anyways, not that this has to do with Fall, but it might. We had a visitor in the backyard the other day. This is just a quick 5 second clip, so pay attention to the left side of the screen.
We don’t get deer visitors that often so it’s always a special treat when we see one. Our feral family was giving her that What The Fluff look. They weren’t quite sure what to think of that big critter in the yard.
Hey Pet Bloggers, don’t forget to leave your daily link over at The Cat Blogosphere for a chance to win. Okay, that’s it for now! Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

How nice to see the deer in your yard. It didn’t look at all vishus!
We see deer here all the time – we have lots of woods around and we get lots of visitors including deer. Hope you have a wonderful Sunday Brian!
Hugs, Teddy
How wonderful to see a deer! And in your own backyard. Mummy loves deer. Not as much as she loves cats, of course – but quite a lot.
Brian, it’s a boy, it’s a boy. I had one walk right up to me at the patio and stomp its feet and snort at me. Good thing he was safe outside the fence or I would have got him. Precious
We see deer at Gramma’s house sometimes and love to watch them. Enjoy your wildlife. At least they don’t bother kitties.
How cool! If we want to see a deer, zoo is the only place to go.
You had a wonderful visitor, Brian, deer are so sweet looking. I can just imagine your ferals giving her the “what the fluff” look, though! 🙂
As for September…Gosh, this month in particular seems to have flown by, I can’t believe we’re barreling toward October already!
Take care and have a lovely week.
Cool….I bet the feral cats were sitting still and wondering what in the world is that!!! I love watching the deer travel through the yard, nice to see them out in the open, in nature, just wished they did not HAVE to travel that close for them. The building of Nashville just keeps on pushing them to people.
It’s cooler here too, Brian. I like this weather but not what’s coming in a few months.
I wonder if the ferals were thinking, what is that? is it an odd looking dog? wow, i have never seen a deer anywhere, let alone my back yard. we know this week end is Oct 1, Beaus dad will be 87 that day and Beau has a 3rd gotcha day on the 13th a vet visist on the 9th and a 10th birthday on the 14th.
Oh Dear….a deer…great capture
Hugs Cecilia
That was fun!
How nice of that deer to visit your yard. We can imagine how scary such a huge creature would scare your feral cats even though we know the deer would never hurt the cats.
I’m sure the ferals were a bit unsure of what the deer was doing in “their” yard
Aren’t the deer just beautiful. We love when they visit our yard!
Oh wonderful video of the sweet deer ~ Awww ~ Xo
Wishing you good health, laughter and love in your days,
A ShutterBug Explores,

we had a Mama and two babies last week………I didn’t post the photos, if I remember maybe I will message them to you!
Awww, so precious. I love seeing deer. So beautiful.
I linked this post to Awww Mondays.
Have a fabulous day and week. Scritches to all the kitties and my best to your peeps. ♥
How exciting!!! We love deer….and I(Rosy) may have a post on Friday about one too(but not in our backyard)!
xoxo,
Rosy & Sunny
Oh dear, your unexpected vistor LQQKED very inquisitive heheh!, it’s been like Autumn here too quite cool as well 🙂
Have a deertastic Monday 👍
Deer are such graceful creatures. 😀 Happy Fall, my dears!
It’s still in the 90’s here and doesn’t feel like Fall at all.
“What the Fluff?”
Hahahahaha!
Lucky you! It’s a wonder to see wildlife in the yard.
Yes, it is definitely beginning to feel like autumn, but we are hoping it won’t get too cold too soon so we don’t have to turn the heating on for a while longer.
That’s a sweet looking deer!
Purrs,
The Chans
Wow! Your deer friends are beautiful Brian!
Probably going to Miami for the winter.
Deer are so beautiful. I like it when they visit- except when they eat our Brussel’s sprouts. 🙂 XO
What a beautiful visitor! Snuggle season is the best. September has gone by SO fast.
Lindos ciervos. Te mando un beso.
Those deer!! I see them ‘dancing’ on the roads around here when I drive home from work at night…danger!!
I like that it shone its laser beams on you all, LOL!
Yes, Fall, we’ve been having some nice weather the past few days, but now its going to be wetter and cooler…October for us is the start of busy times in our furmily! (Starting with unfurbrothe-elder’s B’day.)
OMC that’s pawsome to have a deer so near, Brian. Great video and great You😻Here’s and Extra Pawkiss especially for you🐾😽💞
That’s cool y’all had a deer calling on you. Our security camera picked up one back in the spring or summer one night. That was the first time for us to see one, even though we’ve heard from neighbors of their sightings over the years. 🙂 It won’t be long now before snuggle season is really here again. While in Princeton WV, we had a bit of a tease with pre-autumn temperatures. It felt really nice. I like autumn weather but not winter and am not ready for it to be cold. Have an awwwesome week, furriend!
Pretty soon we’ll be hearing the Bang! Bang! of hunters’ guns and maybe one of our friends will give us deer meat to eat again. Mmmmmm. Gooooood. XOX Xena, Lucy, Chia and RIley
That was a lovely visitor, and I’m glad fall is coming for you. We should get some, sooner or later, but if we blink we miss it.
