Hey gang, welcome to Tabby Tuesday and I sure hope you are all having a fantastic week. It really is hard to believe that we’re almost half way through September. I do love to sit up here on the back of the couch and watch the world go by. It really is a prime spot for sitting, watching and thinking.
So, what am I thinking about this week? Well, I’m thinking about our Dad. Tomorrow he is having another procedure on his left eye. He had cataracts removed from both eyes a while back but his left eye has another one, every so slight. It’s called a secondary cataract and it’s not all that unusual. Tomorrow his eye surgeon will be trying to fix it for him.
What else am I thinking about? Speaking of Dad, I’m wondering why he didn’t get that quiet mower sooner. I’m no longer afraid of mowing day! I’m also wondering if we will get much snow this coming Winter. We didn’t have much last year and it is sort of fun to look out and see that white stuff falling from the sky. Oh, I’m also thinking how thankful I am that Dad got a mat out of my tail, it was a bit of a pain and I’m glad it’s gone.
Okay, that’s enough thinking for now, I’ll just get on with the watching. Have a fun Tabby Tuesday everyone, I’ll see you soon!. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Dads are the best. We know you’ll do your best to help him heal ASAP!
I hope your dad’s eye surgery goes well.
Looking good there Simon😸Healing Pawkisses for a speedy recovery to your Dad🙏🐾😽💞
Hope your Dad’s surgery goes well Simon….my Mom says she didn’t know you could get a secondary cataract but it’s good to know it’s not unusual. We can’t believe September is slipping by so quickly either – we sure hope it’s not a horrible winter – a little snow might be swell but a LOT would not be!
Hugs, Teddy
Simon, I am fascinated by your eyes! I think you have the most beautiful of all cat eyes, shhh do not tell your siblings I said that. I now know why the marbles my brother played with as a child, were called cat eyes, they were much like yours. I hope this procedure on Dad’s eye is the laser, I had to have it done and it was sitting in a chair, and they tapped it with laser lights. no surgery needed. be careful about wishing for snow. what if the WINTER turns out to be like The Summer?
Good for you not fearing the mowing day, Simon. Pray that your dad’s eye surgery run smoothly tomorrow.
Simon, you are the heavy thinker today. I will not think about snow until I see it because it does not make me happy. He used to when I was young but now I am old, lol. We wish your dad good health with the second procedure on the eye. Then he’ll be able to push that more after he’s recovered.
We wish your dad the best. Eye procedures have gotten so amazing, we are certain things will go well for him. Hope you get some snow. We are hoping for loads of it.
Simon, I’m sending your dad lots of positive vibes that all goes well!
You’re certainly thinking about weighty matters today! If you want snow, come to my part of Canada; you can have all the snow you want come winter. I, on the other hand, would like to take a pass on the entire season.
We’re sending lots of good wishes to your Dad! And great on that mower, Simon!
Purrs,
The Chans
Little bitt over three months and we have a brand new year!
Simon, if it was impawtent, you thought of it. I didn’t know that another cataract could grow like that, I am so surprised. All is going well otherwise, and good to see you have learned so much about being Second in Command in the household, after Brian.
I’m purring all goes well with your dad’s eye surgery, Simon.
That’s a lot of thoughts, Simon! We think you can just focus on your dad today, though, the rest of the things will take care of themselves.
Purrs for your dad, Simon.
We are thinking that all outdoor equipment should be made silent; things are much too loud, and like our across-the-street neighbor, can be out there mowing and blowing for HOURS!
We have our paws crossed that all goes well for your dad’s eye surgery. Our mower is a big, loud tractor but we’re not scared of it at all.
Sending good vibes to dad with the eye surgery. Hope it fixes the issues for good.
I’m glad dad finally got the quiet mower. You deserve not to be disturbed.
Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Scritches all around and my best to your peeps. ♥
Good wishes to Dad and happy he got your glorious tail untangled.

Hugs Cecilia

hoping all goes well for Dad!! A “quiet” mower? I never knew that such a thing existed!
Simon, you do look pensive today! September is going way too fast for me, too! We hope your Dad has a successful procedure, and send purrs. That was good of him to get rid the mat for you!
You are so beautiful Simon! Thanks for the update on your Dad, we’ll keep him in our thoughts and send some healing purrs as well. I gotta look into a quiet mower, sounds wonderful.
Best wishes on your dad’s healing. ~hugs~ Your family is awesome.
Hope all is well with your Dad’s eyes. I had laser cataract surgery several years ago. It was was amazing. By the way, you have beautiful eyes!

Glad you no longer fear the mower. I hope your dad’s eye surgery goes well. Xo
Your dad is pawsome. Mudpie’s grandpa had cataract surgery done on both eyes last month and he now has 20/20 vision! I won’t mention to him that a secondary cataract can develop!
Prayers and good thoughts for your dad
It’s nice when those mats are gone, although getting them out is not fun. Dansig the Round would agree with you on that point.
Lots of prayers for your dad’s procedure to go well tomorrow.
Espero que tu operación salga bien. Te mando un beso.
Your dad is the best, Simon. We will be purring and praying for him with that surgery, and that it is a big success. XO
