Today we’re thankful that the procedure on Dad’s left eye is done. It was a laser zapping to clean up his left eye implant. Sorry, I didn’t mean to confuse everyone into thinking he was having surgery, he wasn’t, but his eye surgeon was doing the procedure. It might take a day or two to know if it was completely successful but the Dad seems happy to have it done and we really are thankful for that.
We’re always thankful for eyes that find the food, eyes that find the treats, eyes that find the medicine. Well, two outta three ain’t bad MOL!

Any kind of thing that a surgeon has to do has its risks, Brian, so we are glad to read that your dad seems to be A-OK.

I am glad the procedure has been done and is hopefully a big success. Ivor goes to have a cataract in his right eye done on Tuesday. It should have been done 2 weeks ago but was cancelled. Actually it should have been done a year ago if the optometrist had realised how fast growing it was, but that’s another story!

yikes, anything to do with eyes is unnerving. DH recently had a corneal patch for a week, and it made him look like his eye was white. It helped. Glad your procedure is done too, and here’s to it working!

I’ve got my fingers and toes crossed that the procedure worked perfectly.
I’m thank for getting our new artificial Christmas tree and new decorations. We haven’t put a tree up in about a decade. I’m looking forward to our Christmas tree this Christmas season.

I’m very glad your dad is doing well and that the procedure was successful. My mom would always say we get only one pair of eyes. (Ah, those obvious “words of wisdom”.) To me, any eye-related procedure seems VERY scary, so it’s great it’s over and done with.
YAY!!! Hopefully Dad will see EVERYTHING now!
