Hey gang, nice to see you as always. As you can tell, right now I’m hanging out on the dining room table. It’s okay, but I’m in seach of a new hidey place. Yes, you know I hide a lot when things go bump in the night, or even when things go bump in the day MOL! Anywho, my go-to hidey place was always under the recliner. Yes, that recliner, but since it attacked Macy and is now no more, I’m looking for a hidey place to call my own.
I may have found a place. Upstairs in the bedroom there are some pet steps that are hollow underneath and I’m been ducking under there. It’s an out of the way place and it’s pretty quiet there. I’m pretty happy with it so I’ll be hopping in on Happy Tuesday today.

oh we hope there is a super place for you to hide when scary things happen… how about da wardrobe?
Oh that sounds like a very good hiding/safe place Simon! You should be able to hide there and drive everyone nuts looking for you……tee hee.
Hugs, Teddy
Hidey spots are very important! Angel Derry used to crawl under the covers of the made bed…and even under heavy foam and latex toppers when renos were going on inside the house. (I was scared he’d suffocate under all that heavy weight!) Your spot sounds much safer, Simon!
One of us doesn’t need a hidey place but the other does, when strangers come or sometimes just to chill out. So it’s important to have that place 😸😺
Watch out, you might be the dinner if you stay at the dinningtable
Yay for a new hidey place, and your very on Safe Space. you are looking pretty amazing! Love those EYES…
Simon, underneath those steps is going to be way safer for all of you than that poor chair. Who knows maybe your dad will build you something one day that’ll just be yours.
Nice that you have discovered a new safe place to hide, Simon.
How about under the bed. Our late kitty Sophie always hid there.
Simon, watch an interesting and unique Hades space you found. I don’t think anyone would ever think to look there.
We’re glad you’ve found a suitable new hidey place, Simon. It’s important to have a place where one feels safe and secure.

Good meowning Simon! My, you look mancatly and handsome this meowning. XX
Keep looking for hidey holes, Simon; it’s good to have more than one.
Simon, I bet there’s lots of good hiding spots in your house.
That sounds like a good hidey place, Simon. At least the steps shouldn’t attack you like the recliner did to Macy.
Having a great hidey place is essential. You’re sure handsome, Simon.
Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Scritches all around and my best to your peeps. ♥
Under the pet steps sounds like a brilliant place to hide, Simon!
Our Callie loves her hidey places. Sometimes we can’t find her and go into a tizzy. So we shake up her treat cup and she comes to us right away. Simon, you are a gorgeous kitty! 😻
Simon OMCs I could only concentrate on those gorgeous peepers of yours….now I need to go read about your hidey place
Hugs cecilia
Sounds like you’ve found an excellent hiding place Simon! And it’s good that your parents know where to find you! You are looking gorgeous today!
Simon I think those steps sound like a great idea!!
Good morning, handsome Simon – I’m glad you found a new hidey spot that has passed your requirements for a good quiet safe spot. We feed several feral kitties and some run off to their hidey spots after they’ve eaten, some have more confidence and stay nearby where we can see them and talk to them. We love them all.
Sounds like you found the pawfect new hidey place!!
xoxo,
Rosy & Sunny
Oh so happy you found a new ‘hidey place’ ~ sweet photo too ~ Xo

I’m sorry about the recliner. What a scary disaster. Where did you hide then, my dear? I’d probably have been next to you during all that.
Reminds me of my tabby! Love her and all cats so much!
Its good to have a ‘safe spot’ huh, Simon?? Good that you found a new one!
Good idea. A place for some personal quiet is alway a good idea.
It’s good to find a new place since you don’t want that recliner is gone. Good places are to be found I’m sure.
The pet steps should be sturdy enough not to cave in on you ! Good luck Simon !
Hurray for hidey places! That’s so sad about the recliner attack. ❤️
Glad you found a good spot. XO
I’m sure you’ll find a much safer place to hide than the naughty recliner!
That sounds like an excellent hiding place, Simon! Ava uses that space here sometimes when she wants to be alone. We call it her “honeycomb hideout.” MOL
This is an excellent spot. Best to aviod the cat eating recliner
Es una linda foto y ojala sea feliz con su escondite. Te mando un beso.
Under those hollow stairs sounds quite safe and secluded. Enjoy!
Under the pet steps sounds like a really good hidey place. Maybe you could drag a little blanket in there with you.
Oh that sounds like the purrfect hiding place, Simon, and we purromise we won’t tell anyone🙊Soft Pawkisses for a Happy Day to all of you🐾😽💞
Charlee: “It’s always good to have plenty of places to hide. I have quite a few myself.”
Chaplin: “Oh? Where are they?”
Charlee: “Pfft, as if I would tell YOU!”
Happy hidey place hunting, Simon. With that big and beautiful tail, it must be hard to tuck yourself in somewhere. But we know you are very clever and will find a way.

Yep, it’s important to have a hidey place where you are safe from scary stuff.

I’m so glad you found a new hidey space, Simon. We have some of those stairs in the bedroom, I might see if I can get under them in case I get scared. Your friend, Xena
