Hey gang, how are y’all doing today? Yes, I’m way up here looking down. This is where Maxwell fell from. The Dad said I’m taunting Maxwell but I’m not really. I’m trying my best to show him how to safely hang around up here. I actually don’t think he is much interesting in being up here in this spot now. Well, probably not anytime soon .
If you missed Brian’s post from yesterday, Maxwell fell down to the floor down below. That thud sound was awful and we all ran to see if he was okay. Macy was particularly upset and worried about her brother. We’re just glad he is okay and that nothing was broken. Be careful Maxwell, we all love you buddy.

Simon please be careful up there – sometimes nice shiny floors are slippery and our furs just slide along them TOO easily! We are glad Maxwell was OK after his fall but we don’t want you to fall too! Nice “spy spot” though……

I did not know you could fit through like that, Simon. Be careful, you could fall too. I hope Maxwell is not too sore from that fall and learned his lesson. this reminds me of a baby shower went went to, husbands were invited. the house for the baby shower had steps just like yours, a toddler girl that came with her parents, pushed her head through the railings like you are doing in this photo. Simon, you’re a good Big Brother because you’re showing Maxwell how it should be done safely. But don’t you try any extra tricks while you’re dangling over the edge.
Thankfully he didn’t hurt himself and hopefully it scared him enough that he won’t try anything like that again!

That was an awful thing to read. I hope in the next several more days that nothing shows up.

When Celestial Chuck and Angel were kittens, we blocked off that part of the upstairs railing so they wouldn’t fall through.

Update on our outdoor kitty Lil’ Bit. I got to pet her today. Didn’t last long, but it’s great progress. Can’t wait to get him/her inside. Patience on my part. I know. Everything on the kitties terms.
