Hello everyone, it’s me Maxwell, thanks to you all for stopping by for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.  We are always thankful to each of you for joining us!  Each and every Thursday we share the things for which we are most thankful and we always enjoy reading all of the things you are thankful for too. If you are new to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, thanks for hopping in, we really do get excited when new blogger pals join us!

This week is Veterinary Technician Week, yes, all week long.  We’re celebrating all the wonderful Vet Techs who help keep us all healthy throughout the year. They do an amazing job for all of us, they really do.  So, if you’ve yet to say thank you to your Vet Techs, now would be the time.

You know we’ve had a time of it here, with Brian passing and Macy getting her paw stuck in the recliner.  What we’ve not mentioned yet is that Kiki and Macy have battled a URI on top of everything else.  Now it’s my turn, I have it too and am on meds.  So, we’ve all had our share of Vet visits and many encounters with our super caring Vet Techs.   We are so thankful for all they do for us.

Before I go, I want to give a special shout out to my friend Kathe.  While she’s not a Vet Tech yet, she is always super happy to greet all on our many trips to the Vet.  She’s also a big fan of our blog.  She has such a cheerful personality and we’re thankful for that too.

  2. Darn, you have all really been having a go of it, Simon. We are thinking of you all, and sending lots of healing purrs.

    And we are so grateful for our vet techs, too. They are so amazing!

  4. The vet techs are essential, I know our vet clinic wouldn’t work as well or efficiently without them.

    I’m glad everyone is on meds and on the mend. It’s no fun being sick!

  15. Our vet techs are always good to us too which is also good for our Mom and Dad since they can worry less about us.
    We hope everybody’s feeling better soon so they can get their snoozes in the cooler weather. 😺😸

  16. I really love the vet AND the vet techs where I go. When I come through the door someone always announces me “Teddy’s HERE!” and everyone comes to say hello. Mom and I hope everyone there feels better very soon……sending POTP.

  17. so sorry you are all sick, it must be some contagion that is going round. you have all certainly had more vet tech contact in the past few weeks than is good. POTP for all of you and that Seal and Simon will stay well. Maxwell, you could be a halloween cat in this photo. not a scary cat, a beautiful halloween cat….. we were thankful for the vet techs we had, but now we are not.. we agree, the world is a better place for the vet techs and vet assistants. more so than the doctors

  18. Maxwell, it sounds like you have plenty to celebrate for that vet techs. But you all certainly did not have to get sick to prove how worthy they are of celebrating. Take your medicine and get well quick.

  19. Maxwell, you sure are turning into a handsome fellow. We missed it about Macy and the recliner, but we have a dog friend who had a recliner accident. I think they can be dangerous for pets. We don’t have one, thankfully. Hope everyone is on the mend and you can all find your new normal without vets and vet techs even though they are super nice, we prefer to not visit them. Healing thoughts to all of you.

  29. vet techs are the ones to do a lot of procedures and I appreciate it when they are gentle and knowledgeable and coo over my milo. When it rains it pours, uti;s are no fun, take your meds and hope it passes soon

  32. Good morning, Maxwell – I’m thankful for so much, and also for every morning when I finish chores I sit down here at the computer with coffee and oatmeal and visit Brian’s page. I feel I know all of you kitties, as although I’m new writing here, I’ve been following the page for years. I hope you and your sisters Kiki and Macy are feeling so much better by the time your Dad and Mom read this. P.S. Yes, we are very grateful for our vet techs!

  37. I should take some flowers to our vet clinic. :) All three of you have upper respiretory infections? How awful. I can’t help wondering if that’s actually what Brian suffered. :( But if your vet believed it to be dental, that’s probably correct. Please, get well soon!

  39. Yes I agree, the Vet Techs are great. I had to take Falcor to the Vet last year because of a slipped disc in his back and then last month I had to take him again for an infection. His Vet’s office is just great.

  41. We send you and Kiki and Maxwell purrayers and POTP that you are over your UTIs soon and that the meds don’t taste too bad.

  46. Oh my goodness, you’ve had lots of visits to the vets & vet techs. Hopefully things settle down for you and you all get a long stretch of good health and no vet visits. We’re always thankful for the nice vet techs at the clinic we go to.
