I know, I know, I may look mighty cozy but I’ve actually been so darn stressed, really, big time. So, I’m asking for some purrs for my best friend and my sister Seal. It all started last Thursday, all was fine and then she got some really bad diarrhea. That’s never any fun for any of us kitties. The Dad and Mom were monitoring her closely but it wasn’t any better. So on Saturday off to the Vet she went.
Seal can’t take the “routine” med for kitty diarrhea because it causes her to projectile vomit, not fun either. So she got two things to help with that issue. All seemed good Saturday evening, Seal even participated in playtime, which she almost never does. Sunday morning things got worse. Seal had really, really bad gas. Do you know what happens when a kitty with diarrhea has really bad gas? Yep, pretty much. So it was off to the Emergency Vet place. They were there for the longest time, xrays, bloodwork and nothing new came of it, just the Dad has lots less green papers now.
Seal came home and was put in the big bathroom and the door was closed. I was hiding when she came home. When I came out I was so distraught, I couldn’t find Seal. I thought she went away and didn’t come back like Brian did. Dad was willing to show me where she was, but I ran. I kept looking everywhere for her, I love her so much.
Anywho, yesterday morning things seemed fine, almost like it never even happened. Same for today. So I’d appreciate purrs for Seal and hopefully our Vet can advise us on how to keep this from happening again. It might just be one of those things, but it wasn’t fun for any of us.

I am glad Seal is feeling better and has got over whatever caused her diarrhoea. I send good thoughts for her.
we send potp and positive vibrations and all good things your way for your Seal…
Poor Seal! I’m sure she didn’t like what happened to her just like all of you didn’t like it either! We will keep her on our prayer list and hope that’s the END (eek) of the problem AND that none of you get whatever she had. HUGS TO EVERYONE!
Love, Teddy
We are so sorry to hear that sweet Seal has been having a bad time. Our vet here has recently started using something new from Spain to treat diarrhoea. We used it when Ryū had bad diarrhoea a couple of months ago and it was miraculous. It’s all natural. This is what the manufacturer says: “Daforte suspension is the fastest and most effective way to stop acute diarrhea in dogs and cats. Nutrients that help the intestinal system in dogs and cats. Totally natural. Complementary food for dogs and cats based on attapulgite that compacts feces. Probiotics that restore bacterial… Read more »
What a good friend you are, #1. XX
That was a stressful time for Seal and for her family too. Get some peaceful time, Simon and Seal 😺😸
Sending POTP and purrs and prayers Seal stays, healed.
We send you lots and lots of AireZen and healing vibes, Seal, and we hope you feel better VERY soon!
OH NO! this story has no real ending. we still don’t know why… prayers and tons of POTP coming your way for your sister Seal, Simon. take good care of her.. I know Mom and dad were distraught, because I feel that way just reading about it. Baby girl did that once, and we never did find out what happened to her. the vet said maybe she ate something someone through over the fence, that was rotted. we never knew and it never happened again, and I pray now this never happens again too.
Dear Simon, we are very sorry to hear what a mess things have been around your house. I can’t imagine how upset you were not to be able to find your sister. Hopefully by today things are even much better for her and then you will be able to spend all your time with her again.
That is very scary especially so soon after losing your beloved brother, Brian. Hopefully she will be alright and it will stay away and not return, ever.
Oh noes. We put paws together (and hands, too!) for sweet Seal, even tho a bit better, do not want the “tummy-troubles” to return. Guess turkey-day for her is off the menu this time, maybe just extra love ‘n’ cuddles will be best just now. Simon, we trust you to manage that very well.
Poor Seal, and poor you, Simon. I know how that had to have affected you personally, never mind poor Seal feeling so extra bad and going through all that. I feel badly for your mom and dad too…that was hard to keep cleaned up unless you made it to the box in time. With the gas, you may not have Of course, the first thing I am thinking is whatever food she had completely disagreed with her.
Mum and I are sending BIG purrs to Seal.
Hope she will feel better soon and no more trips to the Vet!
Purrs, Winnie

Healing Hugs Cecilia
PS My nephews Mom was very tickled to read what you wrote a meeting Johnny Mathis
Oh we are sending Seal all kinds of purrayers and POTP that she is finally going to be feeling better and the vets have found a solution to whatever bug she caught and that it isn’t catching to the rest of you ! How scary for everyone !
Poor, Seal and I hope she is feeling better. I am sending purrs and prayers.
We have our paws crossed that Seal is all better now and doesn’t have any recurrence of the nasty diarrhea. We understand how upsetting it is to have her disappear on you like that, Simon since we get upset when one of us goes away to the vet even for just a few minutes.
I’m so glad Seal is doing better. I hate it when they are sick.
Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Scritches all around and my best to your wonderful peeps. ♥
Lazy but pretty 😀
Charlee: “We’re very sorry to hear about Seal’s troubles! I know how you feel, Simon, when Chaplin was gone overnight at the vet that time I was distraught too, going around the house looking for him.”
Chaplin: “Awww.”
Charlee: “Of course that was back when I used to like him, before he became a teenaged jerk.”
Chaplin: “Hey!”
Oona: “Oona and the other cats send lots of purrs for no more diarrhea and no more gas.”
Java Bean: “And we dogs send lots of tail wags!”
Sweet Simon – I am sending positive thoughts to Seal and am happy to read she is feeling better. You are a caring brother. Hugs to you and your siblings.
Oh my, I do hope Seal is feeling much better very soon, Simon!! Hope those meds get her back to normal FAST!
Purr. PURR 😻
Simon, we sure hope along with you that Seal’s tummy upset was temporary! Purrs and hugs to all!
Hugs for them. Glad she’s feeling better. I have a kitty that gets diarehea from eating any kind of fish and also antibotics.
I will be praying that Seal stays better. XO
I can’t imagine how scary that must have been for Seal, and you Simon! I know if I can’t find Rosy, I get anxious too!
We are sending lots of prayers and POTP that Seal doesn’t go through this again!
xoxo,
Sunny
Oh dear, poor Seal!
And can only imagine some of the clean up that had to happen, plus the clean OUT of the humans’ wallets.
As long as Seal is hail and hearty, that’s what we all wish for.
Purrs and hugs.
Good to hear Seal is feeling better. Hope the good news continues.

Lots of prayers for Seal, I hope it was just a one-time deal from something she ate.
I’m so glad she’s feeling better now, and I hope it doesn’t return!
Oh, my dears, I hope all is well. Take care and continue loving one another.
I am saying prayers for you my food friend.
Sending purrs and POTP for Seal. We love her so much.
Simon, that is like a horror story. We feel so bad for Seal and for y’all too, cause it does make for a lot of stress and worry. Paws crossed and POTP that this doesn’t happen again. We love you, Seal, and are “on your team!” XOX Xena, Lucy, Chia and Riley
Oh dear! Poor Seal. She must have been so miserable the whole time. Purrhaps she ate something she shouldn’t have and then it was eventually purrged with all that diarrhea. We hope it doesn’t repeat itself. Seriously.
Why do these things happen when I am behind on your posts??????? OMC I am praying that Seal is ok!!!!!!!!!! That had to be horrible!!!!!!!! Sending continued purrs, prayers and love!
