Thankful Thursday Blog Hop:  Chicken and Salmon with Foodie Seal

thankful thursday blog hop seal 11092023

Hello everyone, today it’s me Seal and I’m your host for the Thankful Thursday post this week. Thanks to you all for stopping by for Angel Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.  We are always thankful to each of you for joining us!  Each and every Thursday we share the things for which we are most thankful and we always enjoy reading all of the things you are thankful for too. If you are new to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, thanks for hopping in, we really do get excited when new blogger pals join us!

You can probably tell from my post title what I’m thankful for today and every single day.  Of course it’s my loving home, I’m always thankful for that, but today if food day.  Yes, it really is food day here.  One of the places where our Mom goes food hunting has a special on chicken on Thursdays, so the Mom goes there just to get me a rotisserie chicken.  It’s a special trip because she does most of the food hunting on Wednesdays.  And yes, of course I share my rotisserie chicken with the others.

The other foodie thing I’m thankful for today is yummy salmon.  No, our Mom doesn’t go fishing for the salmon, but I still enjoy having some.  Can you believe that I’m the only kitty here that enjoys the yummy salmon?   Macy will have a bite or two and sometimes Simon will, but mostly the others don’t care for it.  Is that weird or what?   Anyways, I’m thankful to be a foodie girl!

So, what are you thankful for today? Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.  Hey Pet Bloggers, don’t forget to leave your daily link over at The Cat Blogosphere for a chance to grab an entry for the end of the month drawing.  Okay, that’s it for now!  Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

  1. What a blessing to have a mom who hunts up a perfectly cooked chicken just for you and the kitties each week! I’m thankful your mom and dad take such excellent care of you.

  2. Oh, Miss Seal, you must be a royal princess to get that yummy chicken as a special delivery!
Salmon!! A fave in this house, too…all of our kitties in the past and even the poochies love that!! Hmmm, now petcretary has a hankering to make a salmon fillet dinner…

  3. The Mom does not give either of us the chickens cuz she says one of us is lergic.
But we both get some fish when the Mom cooks that up. 😸😺

  4. The chicken sounds super yummy and I am the only one who is nuts for salmon at our house. The others will take it or leave it, but I just love it. Enjoy your food!

  5. Mmmm, we just had our breakfast, but now we want salmon! Dad always gives us the skin when he make it. Just wondering, does that mean more for you when your siblings won’t eat it? XOX Xena (the chow hound)

  6. I am also very thankful when mom brings home the rotisserie chickens. I always get some when she has hers. They are the best!

  7. Your mom is the best to make sure you all have what you love. Good for all of you.

I’m thankful that Lil’ Bit wandered into our lives. I just finished feeding her Fancy Feast. She’s a seafood kind of gal.

Thank you for hosting the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.

Have a purrfect Thankful Thursday. Scritches all around and my best to your wonderful peeps. ♥

  8. You are so lucky to have a mom that makes a special trip just to buy you chicken! We’re thankful that our parents share most of their food with us too. Since we get our usual kibble at mealtime, it’s nice to have a little variety in life with the tidbits our parents give us.

  9. Charlee: “I am also a foodie girl! I turn my nose up at the special food Mama tried cooking for Oona, and I turn my nose up at the chicken food we used to get, and I turn my nose up at—”
Oona: “Oona is not sure being fussy is the same thing as being a foodie.”
Charlee: “You’ve got a lot to learn, Smol Oona.”

  10. Mornin’, sweet Seal – Chicken and salmon sure sounds good. Your Mom is a thoughtful lady. You and your siblings are blessed!

  11. The Salmon sounds delicious, the boys are huge fish fans but not tried them on salmon too many time unless it’s in enrichment toys as it’s so expensive to feed as a meal for them xxx

  12. Hi lovely Seal, unfortunately our first link is totally incorrect and links to an old post, not sure how I managed that, please feel free to delete it. Boris & Eko x

  13. Everybody loves chicken. Personally, I would be thankful if I could eat chicken without a bunch of vultures that look just like cats staring me down or sticking their claws in my plate.

  14. Seal did you say chicken, yumm that is my favorite and like you I am very thankful when Mom buys a Rotisserie one as it is so so good. I am so thankful Mom buys one once a week also and thank you for your blog hop this week as always. Bon Appetit !
