Thankful Thursday Blog Hop:  On the Lookout for Blooming Season

Hello everyone, it’s me Maxwell and I’m here for Angel Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Thanks to you all for stopping by. We are always thankful to each of you for joining us!  Each and every Thursday we share the things for which we are most thankful and we always enjoy reading all of the things you are thankful for too. If you are new to Angel Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, thanks for hopping in, we really do get excited when new blogger pals join us!

Today I want to say that we will all be thankful for Blooming Season to get here.  Blooming Season is also known as Spring and I don’t know about you, but we’re more than ready here. Besides, Blooming Season is always so much prettier.  Tomorrow March will be here and then on the 19th we will have the Spring Equinox.  Hey Dad, will you be thankful for mowing season?

I’m already wondering if we’ll see any baby ducks or baby geese this year.  Sometimes they do show up in our yard and that’s always some fun Fowl-TV.  We always worry about the crop that is known as Kitten Season though, so tell everyone to spay and neuter please.  What about you, will you be thankful when Spring gets here?  I know some of our pup friends are still hoping for some more snow.

So, what are you thankful for today? Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.  Hey Pet Bloggers, don’t forget to leave your daily link over at The Cat Blogosphere for a chance to grab an entry for the end of the month drawing.  Okay, that’s it for now!  Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Spring is wonderful! I’m not a fan of too hot or too cold, I wish we could have six months of spring and six months of autumn.

Hi Maxwell! We are looking forward to Blooming Season, too. It’s almost here! XO

Maxwell, we’re looking forward to blooming season as much as you do!
Thankful for having made it to my 1st chancel choir rehearsal since accident on February 21 last year (a car hit me while I was on my E–bike).
Hugs,

Maxwell, you look so bright-eyed! I too look forward to flowers and greenery … Tonight will be brrr again though. We see baby ducks sometimes too! We so agree about spay and neuter; we do have a program for seniors in town that helps us get ferals spay/neutered but we’d have to have help with homing now if any litters show up.

We will be thankful for no more snow, but spring doesn’t show up here as early as everywhere else. Feb and March are the snowiest months here.

Memories of Eric and Flynn

Having a really mild winter our blooming season has started early. We had snowdrops in January, our cultivated daffodils have been and gone. The wild ones in the fields are blooming now though. There are primroses everywhere and the buds on the magnolia are opening. We can’t work in the garden yet though because so much rain all winter has made it waterlogged.

Spring is apparently “waiting” to show up here…..with temps one day in the 30s and the next in the 60s no wonder Spring is confused! We are too! Thanks for keeping Thankful Thursday a priority in the blogosphere for so many of us…….

Hugs, Teddy

This year is such a bust, it really doesn’t matter to us. We’d love more snow, but at this point, we are hoping for a good winter next year and forgetting about this one.

Good morning Maxwell. You’ve got some wonderful mention of Spring springing very soon. We are hopeful up here too. We had pouring rain and tornadoes Wednesday morning and snow Wednesday afternoon. Don’t know what that’s trying to bring. But we’re thankful that nothing serious happened right here at our house.

Well, the look on your face (adorable by the way) is certainly one of anticipation … but as to “anticipating” spring-like weather … the weather is a bit on-again-off-again these days, so do not get your hopes too high!

Maxwell, is your Meowmy just a bit put out…like myself…because our b’day’s are NOT on the first day of Spring this year? It’s rare to be on the 2nd day of Spring; more often, it’s the last day of Winter, which really makes me frown.

What a cute picture of you, Maxwell. We’re thankful for warmer temperatures here. It’s been record breaking for a couple of days this week and more above normal temperatures are coming in a few days.

Maxwell I am 100% in your corner cheering for Blooming season….I can hardly wait to have my humming birds return. I usually put out my HB feeder around mid March.
Once we had a sighting on March 31….

We’ve already begun to spot some blooms and it has felt a lot like the Blooming season, too. The daffodils are so gorgeous and cheery right now! In a few weeks the trees will probably bud out. I love the return warmer weather but I don’t like the grass and brush grow out of sight. That’s no fun! Despite the bad parts of this season (or any others) I’m happy for its return. 🙂

Even here in Honolulu the spring is different and wonderful! Pixie enjoyed watching the ducks and geese when we stayed in California for a while. They would come up to the door and talk to her. I’m thankful for our weekly get together. Aloha!

We’re thankful that Spring has finally sprung, even if it’s just a little! MOL We’ve got some snowdrops, daffs and crocus peeking out of the cold soil at the moment, so it’s lovely to see a little splash of colour here and there! But then that reminds us that there’s a gazzillion jobs to do in the garden! MOL
