Thankful Thursday Blog Hop:  De-Winterizing the Feral Areas

thankful thursday blog hop maxwell 06132024

Hello everyone, it’s me Maxwell and I’m here for Angel Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Thanks to you all for stopping by. We are always thankful to each of you for joining us!  Each and every Thursday we share the things for which we are most thankful and we always enjoy reading all of the things you are thankful for too. If you are new to Angel Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, thanks for hopping in, we really do get excited when new blogger pals join us!

Today we’re thankful that our Dad finally got around to de-winterizing all the feral areas.  Y’all know that the ferals “own” our deck and that the Dad got everything ready for winter, including fresh straw in all their houses.  Well, with Simon being sick, then Chipper, then Dad’s foot injury, things got delayed.

Well, the Dad finally got started on their deck.  All the straw was removed, the houses all cleaned out and cleaned up, the deck was blown off with the noisy blower thing and then the deck was hosed down.  Oh, and the deck umbrellas were put back up to keep the sun off of their feeding stations.  Good job Dad, the ferals are thankful for you.

So, what are you thankful for today? Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.  Hey Pet Bloggers, don’t forget to leave your daily link over at The Cat Blogosphere for a chance to grab an entry for the end of the month drawing.  Okay, that’s it for now!  Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Maxwell, your Dad is AWESOME!
De–winterizing for the ferals is a labor of love.
We had the power off for several hours, noticed when I woke up.
So now waiting till it gets cooled down enough for going back to sleep…
We all are so spoiled and dependent of electricity!
Hugs,
Mariette + Kitties

I’m thankful that our feral cat has acclimated to being an indoor cat. Also thankful that he keeps the tidiest litter box. The other cats–normal, domestic cats–toss litter everywhere, but he keeps his tidy.

all that work has to mean dad is feeling better each day.. tell Dad that my son Cat Coup worked well, he messaged me that the ferals spent the day in the coop, high above the 4 inches of rain we got. it rained all day and they were happy and high up and dry… your dad and my son would get along well together.

We know first paw how injuries and illness can delay a lot of plans. I’m sure the ferals are happy with their cleaned up spot for the summer months.

What a wonderful thing your Dad always does for the ferals. I know they are grateful and believe me, we here at my house are grateful to him for taking good care of the ferals as well. I know that was a lot of work. All of us here in the CB love the videos of the ferals when your Dad is able and has the time.

Mornin’, Maxwell – What a wonderful Dad (and Mom) you all have! But you and the gang here on Brian’s blog already know this. I’m sure the ferals do too and appreciate clean houses and summer umbrellas to keep the sun off their food. Hope Chipper is feeling a lot better.
