Today we’re thankful that our Mom gets a bit of a vacation, she sure deserves it. When the Dad was working he traveled all over the place and the Mom was home cat sitting. Well, now the Dad gets to be here with us. We will all pitch in and help him with the housework too. Tomorrow our Mom is going to Ocean Isle, North Carolina with her friends. Oh, we will miss her but we’re happy she gets to go to the beach. Our Mom loves the beach and it’s be almost 30 years since she has been to a beach. Hey, I might like the beach too, I hear there is lots of sand!
We’re very thankful that her friends invited her along on the beach trip, that was super nice. We’ll be waiting for her return and we’ll likely have to listen to Kiki meowing at the door until she gets back. Not to worry, we’ll all comfort Kiki. So, what are you thankful for today? My daughter, son in law and my grand kitties live on the NC Crystal Coast.
Ocean Isle is a beautiful location too. Fall is my favorite time there too

Oh my. A beach vacation!! And in a place mom here hasn’t heard of. She said she’ll mention it to one of my brovvers who lives in Charlotte as he always heads out to such places. Kiki, it will be alright, you have your Dad and siblings.

30 years is way too long between trips to the beach! Great that your Mom and her friends are going. Be patient with your Dad.He’s not used to having to take care of you and the house with out Mom’s expertise.

Yep, those beaches would make a great sand box for you and your siblings.. so happy mom is getting a beach vacation. I have always loved beaches and my mother did too. we had to hog tie and drag daddy to a beach

I’m sorry it’s been thirty years since her last beach visit and it makes me thankful my last trip was just a decade ago. It feels like forever. lol Hugs and well wishes!
