Our blogging friend Marg, passed away peacefully, during her sleep on Sunday, December 22, 2024. Marg had been ill and battling cancer for quite sometime, but I can tell you that she was a true jewel in our blogging world for many years. She cared for countless kitties, many dogs, miniature donkeys and many horses during her life. She was a true friend to animals and a tireless caretaker for them all. If you are somewhat new to blogging you probably didn’t know Marg and I wish you would have had the opportunity to encounter her joy for her animals.
Ann, Marg and Terry
I was fortunate enough to visit with Marg when she was visited by her best friend Dee (behind the camera) and Ann, from Zoolatry. It was a fun time with instant friends and it seemed as though we had known each other forever. That’s the kind of person Marg was. Of course I got to have fun with her many kitties.
One of Marg’s kitties adopted me immediately
I got to love on her mini donkeys
I know the welcoming procession at The Bridge had to go on for miles as all her animals and friends welcomed her. Our lives are all better because Marg was a part of it. We will always remember this special lady.

She has left a sad hole in our world, sad for all the critters she would have cared for if not for the battle with cancer. I know when made heaven happy to receive her. Excellent photo of the three of you
I was very sad to hear of Marg’s passing. I knew she had been ill with the evil c for a long time, but it is very sad when the bad news comes. I used to love her blog and all her animals. She will be very much missed.
I’m so sorry to hear about Marg’s passing. Even though I didn’t know her, it’s clear she was a special person with such a big heart for animals.
Love the photo of you three.
I didn’t know Marg but she was lucky to have so many devoted friends…..obviously her impact on the world – human and animal alike – was HUGE. I’m so sorry for the loss of someone who meant so much to so many but I’m sure she will continue her work with animals in heaven……..RIP dear Marg.

What a beautiful tribute and what a special lady she was. Our hearts go out to all of her family and friends♥
A special friend to us ~ a special friend to all in the animal kingdom. Loved ya, Miss Marg!
We’re going to miss her dearly. She was one of a kind💗Soft Pawkisses to comfort you all🐾😽💞
Thank you for this wonderful post about a lovely woman. I’m sorry I did not know of her until her final days. Anyone who helps animals has a very courageous and loving heart.
Marg’s passing is another sad loss for us all. I deeply missed her posts when she had to stop blogging, as I’d followed her for years. She was an incredible person whose love of animals shone through all her blog entries and I know she made a huge difference to so many four-leggeds (and two!) over the course of her life. I hope her spirit is at peace, reunited with all those Beings who passed before her. ♥
I did not know Marg but I can tell she had an enormous impact on her animals and on the blogging world from this beautiful tribute. And how wonderful to have had the chance to meet with her! My heart goes out to all her friends and family.
Rest peacefully Marg. I will never forget you. Your wonderful blog showed me many precious animals to love… and sometimes I could send things to them. Always a joy.
So sad to hear this news about our wonderful friend Marg. I always loved that picture of you, Ann and Marg.
An epic tribute for such an epic woman, R.I.P Marg, we hope that your next journey in the Rainbow Realm is all that mew ever dreamt it would be, and so much more! 💔🌈🐾🐾🌈💔
rest well my fellow, St Francis loving friend. I remember Terry, when you all were able
to visit one another, I know that time, as well as other memories of Marg and her animals,
will remain forever in your heart, just as Marg will do so, in hearts that knew and loved her. 💚💙❤️
I woke up to this news this morning…and it left me feeling very sad. I never met Marg in person but I will always remember her as a kind and loving woman…whose love for animals was second to none. Heaven has gained a special animal caretaker, and I hope my furbabies who are there seek her out for love and comfort. RIP, Marg.
Rest in peace, Marg! Love the picture of three of you.
What a lovely tribute to a special lady.
A lovely and beautiful tribute, Terry. While I didn’t know her when she was blogging, I was so impressed with her backstory I jumped at the chance to brighten her days after she went into hospice care by sending cards. I always hoped our feeble artistic attempts brought her a smile and let her know how much she meant to so many. Clearly Marg touched many uprights as well as all the four-legged. She was a truly an inspirational human. And you’re so right, the line queuing up to greet her arrival in heaven will have been quite long. Sending tender and gentle thoughts of comfort to all who knew her, whether in person or online. ❤️🩹
We loved Marg and her precious kitties and Smoke and Joe. She will be missed.
Have a blessed weekend. ♥
Great tribute to a special lady who loved animals ~ only knew her from blogging but what a gift ~ hugs,

We would have loved to have known here but we did know the stories and we did sent a postcard and stuffed animal to her when she was in the retirement village. What a darling! And so many wonderful animals that benefitted from her love and care. Amazing woman. It was nice to see you Mr T and Ann with her.
Sorry for your loss.
Terry you were surrounded by lovely fun ladies. I never met Marg but always felt like I knew her.
Love her smile

Aw, sweet Marg, what a memory! All the stories and animals and her big smile showed her generous heart to all living things. I’ve been thinking about her this past week–I’ve spent the past week making PDF files of all my posts on The Creative Cat back to 2009 so I encountered her frequently in post shares for her animals’ care and she commented frequently. She seemed timeless. She set into action many ripples of compassion and joy that are no doubt still spreading.
My heart aches, she was so special. May she rest in peace, with all her animal friends keeping her company.
We were sad to hear about Marg. We enjoyed her blog. You could tell how much love she has for all her animals. She was a very special lady. Thanks for your tribute to her.
How wonderful that you were able to meet Marg in person, Terry! We only knew her online, but were always moved by her good humor and her spirit of love, compassion, and kindness. I bet those things must have been even more evident in person. We agree that the parade of greeters at the Bridge must have stretched for miles, like a procession fit for royalty. Rest well, Marg. We love you!
Lo siento mucho. Les mando un abrazo.
She will be missed by us here on Earth, yet The Rainbow Bridge is full of love for Marg.
Such a beautiful tribute, to a much loved member of the blogging community. I am so happy I got to know her and her many animals friends before she retired from blogging.
She will be so very missed.

Terry this was wonderful! I am so deeply sorry about the loss of dear Marg. I know you were extremely close. I also had great joy following her blog and reading about her many beloved animals. She was one of a kind and, like you, truly dedicated to the lives of animals and saving as many as she could. Thank you for including a link to the shelter…….in the next few days (or in the next week) I will donate in Marg’s memory for sure. Sending (((hugs))) and love during this sad time.
We were so sad when we found out about Marg passing. She was an angel on earth to the many animals under her care throughout the years. She will be missed by so many. But, you are correct, she must have been greeted by a crowd of friends and animals when she reached heaven and will never be alone.
