Hello everyone, it’s me Maxwell and I’m here for Angel Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Thanks to you all for stopping by. We are always thankful to each of you for joining us!  Each and every Thursday we share the things for which we are most thankful and we always enjoy reading all of the things you are thankful for too. If you are new to Angel Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, thanks for hopping in, we really do get excited when new blogger pals join us!

This will be a bit short and sweet today because I’m always a sweet kitty. Total we are all so thankful for some warmer temperatures around here. It was darn cold in the South and we had temperatures in the 20s for several days and a few days it was in the teens. It was too darn Brrrrr Cold and we even had a dose of Brrrrr Humbug thrown in there too. The Mom and Dad had several of our faucets dripping non-stop so that the house pipes wouldn’t freeze. Some of the silly newbies were enjoying drippy drinks from the drippy faucets. Oh, our ferals have a heated water bowl so they always had water available. On Tuesday the temperature got up to 80. We’re thankful that some of the warm has returned!

  4. It was cold, and while I’m not ready for winter to be totally over and A/C season to start, the excess cold is something I can do without, too.

  10. we are happy for warmer weather too… it helps the anipals outside and we have no longer to wear that ugly sweaters…

  14. Those are pretty crazy temperature fluctuations! It’s been quite cold here as well but we have thankfully not had any rain the past few days. We may get some snow tomorrow, though. You’re looking adorable, Maxwell!

  15. EIGHTY???? WOW! We had a sleet/ice storm last night and we have snow in our forecast for this weekend and two days next week so Winter is definitely not through with us yet. I want to have a private talk with that ground hog!

  17. Our temps are cold and the wind makes it feel even colder. Gosh, we won’t see 80 degrees for several more months yet. Lucky you, Maxwell!

  18. we did not get the have to drop faucets but we have had 3 days this week of going to 80, butt the nights are still cool, down to 65.. purrfect weather. glad you have a warming spell and you do look mighty fine Maxwell

  20. We are thankful to have the cold here again. Winter is our favorite time and we don’t like it warm out. Being in the north, we are ready for cold. You south folks are not prepared so it isn’t a good thing for you.

  25. Sounds like our weather’s been about the same as yours. Mommy left the bathroom water dripping, too, but we didn’t try to jump up there to drink, BOL. She also put insulated coverings on the three outside spigots. And we had to wear our sweaters every time we went out to do our potty. It’s real warm and nice now, though, and I finally got all that warm hair shaved off me. XOX Xena

  26. Yay for the warm. I like the warm better than the cold.

    I’m thankful that we got both of our kitties in for their annual vet visit and vaccines. Both were a bit sore yesterday and I hope they are better this morning. They are still snoozing.

  30. We’re glad things are warming up for you all. It’s been a rollercoaster of temperatures around her. It was down to 11 degrees last night, but we woke up to above freezing and rain this morning.

  32. I’m thankful for the warmer weather, too. Our temperatures have reached the low 70s which is so wonderful. My goodness, y’all got quite a bit warmer than us. We had to do the whole leaving the water running constantly for days on end till we got out of those Arctic conditions. Let’s hope that’s all behind us for another year. Here’s to more nicer days to come!

  38. Of course you are sweet, Maxwell, and handsome too. We also had some drippy faucets here in early January when the temps were zero and below. We are back to more normal temps, but our snow is sadly gone.

  42. From 20’s to 80’s?? Holy cow…that quite the differential. Hopefully things will mellow out a bit. Extremes are never enjoyable.

  43. Guys, we’re thankful that the weather is warming up a little too. We are so over the cold, and the other day, we were utterly delighted to see a small patch of snowdrops looking rather epic in the courtyard at BBHQ; this means Spring is not too far away – thank COD!!!!

  45. It’s getting colder here in the South of England, it was -7°C the other night which wasn’t pleasant, but glad to hear it’s getting warmer for you xxx
