Oh, did you see that? I think it’s Sonny Corinthos from General Hospital. I don’t know if there are any soap opera fans out there in Blogville but the Mom and Dad have watched General Hospital forever.
Maurice Bernard, the actor who plays Sonny Corinthos on General Hospital, was in our city recently. He was appearing at a local comedy club. The Mom and Dad said his show was fabulous, he brought his son, daughter and wife along with him. His son Joshua is an up and coming singer and did a couple of songs which were amazing. We were glad that the Mom and Dad had a good time, with nine of us they don’t get out much MOL!

Years ago back in the days when Heather was in a sanitarium and Luke and Laura got married, Mom watched it every day or she had it taped so she could watch it later. When she was a flight attendant she would bring a bunch of taped shows to Tokyo with her and watch them one after another in her room as the tv had a built in vcr. She hasn’t watched it in years now.
My mother got me hooked on General Hospital and others when I was little. I don’t watch any anymore but I am glad and amazed they still have a presence in TV land. Kiki, you may learn some medical terms. And we are glad to see Dad and Mom had a great entertainment and meet and greet.
MY goodness, mom said she was a regular with soap operas. Travel and then work took her away from them. The ones on CBS had her hooked as a teen. How wonderful for your dad and Mom to get to meet one of your favorite characters.
OMC Mom used to watch that. She remembers the BIG wedding of Luke and Laura!
How cool is that! That is so nice of you all to let the Mom and the Dad get out for a few hours and enjoy themselves.

That’s so cool! I’ve never watched GH, Guiding Light was always “my” soap and I was heartbroken when it went off the air. I did get to meet a couple of the actors and it was always very exciting!

I watched General Hospital for a short time in the 80s but I don’t remember the characters. That’s pawsome Mom and Dad got a chance to see the show. I hope all of you behaved yourselves while they were away for the evening. :)
