Hello everyone, it’s me Maxwell and I’m here for Angel Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Thanks to you all for stopping by. We are always thankful to each of you for joining us!  Each and every Thursday we share the things for which we are most thankful and we always enjoy reading all of the things you are thankful for too. If you are new to Angel Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, thanks for hopping in, we really do get excited when new blogger pals join us!

Today I’m thankful for cool, I know, I know, I’m a cool kitty MOL! That’s not the cool I’m talking about though. I’m talking about cooler temperatures. It has been stupid hot here and now the weather guessers say a cool down is coming. We’ll be going from the high 90s to the high 70s. I know our feral family will sure be thankful for that too. It has truly been a long hot summer here in the South and about everywhere else. I do hope the weather guessers are wrong about one thing though, they say we are supposed to have flooding rains. I’ll be extra thankful if that is not the case.

So what are you thankful for today? Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.  Hey Pet Bloggers, don’t forget to leave your daily link over at The Cat Blogosphere for a chance to grab an entry for the end of the month drawing.  Okay, that’s it for now!  Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! 1. Maxwell what a wonderful COOL thankful.
I heard on tonight’s new that this summer has been the hottest on record here in NC and I expect everywhere. Very very thankful for a/c as you are.
Hugs to you and the siblings and your loving Staff
    Cecilia

  2. We too are looking forward to a cool down here in Michigan, Maxwell.
None of the Eastside Cats seem to enjoy the window a/c units, nor the fans that blow a bit of coolness around.
Hopefully, we’ll have open windows very, very soon.

  3. That’s a great thankful, Maxwell. It’s been stupid hot here, too, but it’s supposed to cool off starting tomorrow. Purring your rains are not too bad. XO

  4. Maxwell, you do look refreshed and cool! We’ve had that same southeast heat here so we totally get it! We too will welcome rain so long as it’s not too stormy and/or too much.

  5. We hear you, Max! It was so hot here the other day, and today it was in the 70s (and Mama got cold!!) MOL!

We hope there are no floods there! Enjoy the cooler temperatures – we sure is!

    Purrs,
    Giovanni and Baby Cat Gabe

  6. We’re getting storms again today BUTTT the upside is tomorrow we will be able to breathe since it will cool down after the rain…….we hope!

    Hugs, Teddy and Mom Pam

  7. Cool Maxwell, we have a big rain cloud headed for us right this minute and when it leaves it’s supposed to be cooler until about monday. We are grateful. Of course we’re thankful for lots of other great things too.

  8. You look gorgeous Maxwell. Well you’d be happy here, it’s not that hot! So far highs of 20C. Mind you that’s a bit hot for me! I really don’t tolerate the heat. So Scotland is ideal for me!

  9. Maxwell…what a handsome dude you are. Yeah, the weather thingy on the iPhone says somewhere with the high 690’s at night hertz in the week going. I would love that! mid 80’s in the day.

  10. Weather is one of our thankfuls this summer. For New Mexico, we have had not too much hot…and just enough rain. We are hoping that the cooler weather arrives at your corner of the world soon!
    xoxo,
    Rosy & Sunny

  11. We love cool here too. This has been the coolest July I can remember. Usually we have 20 or so triple digit days and this year we’ve had a couple. Lovely weather this year. I’m thankful for that.

Thank you for hosting the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday and rest of the week. Scritches to the kitties and my very best to their wonderful peeps. ♥

  12. Maxwell ~ you are one handsome and cool kitty ~ glad you and your siblings and of course Mom and Dad are cool despite the heat ~ hugs,

  13. we got the cool down, for two days it was merely normal summer heat. More like 80 than 70’s but it made walking do-able. Stay cool, the heat would be worse wearing a black fur coat

  14. I’m happy for you it’s cooling off, and like you said, especially for the ferals who are out in in 24/7. Paws crossed there’s no flooding type rains! XOX Xena and my pack

  15. Don’t think you’re close to us (know you’re not) … but what you’ve got is what we’re about to get: a little cool down but also a flood warning. Are we building an ark today?

  16. Mornin’, Maxwell – Glad that temps are on their way to cooling down. Rain is good, but not to the point of floods!

  17. Oh, Maxwell, this is a brilliant portrait/photo of you. The best ever and those EYES…wow. You are giving such a look to someone….

  18. Yay…cool down are my two favorite words lately. Sadly, we’re going in the opposite direction but will always be grateful for cool cats like you, Maxwell!

  19. Maxwell, we do hope you get the cooler temps minus the rains. Flooding rain is so terrifying. We cooled down a lot today although it is still a bit humid. We are supposed to have a couple of good days and then rain on Sunday. We heard them say it could be heavy rain, but we hope they are wrong.

That is a beautiful photo of you today.

  20. We’re in for a bit of a cool down, too. The last I checked they were saying in the low to mid 80s which beats the 90s. Did a second look, a couple of days the forecast shows the highs in the upper 70s. This makes me very thankful and happy! Unfortunately, the hot weather is expected to return the following week. The seasons will change again before we know what happened anyhow, so all we can do is try to adjust and stay comfortable. The days are zinging by so fast!

  21. Nili woofs she wants some warm weather we have had here the coldest summer in years, maybe 3 hours of sun a day if that, grrrr. I pray you do not have floods as I worry about all the animals outdoors so hopefully the guessers will be wrong. Stay safe with a woof from Nili
