Hello everyone, it’s me Simon! How y’all doin’ today? I hope you are all doing wonderfully. It’s hard to believe that we are more than half way through August already, but here we are headed towards fall, but not quite yet. The other day I was sitting on the back of the couch and I happened to look down. There it was, sure enough, it was right there in front of me. I was surprised to see it. It was my shadow! Y’all know what that means, right?!?!? Two more weeks of terribly hot weather, MOL! Do I look like a groundhog to you? Nevermind, you don’t have to answer that question. But…the hots have returned, at least in our neck of the woods. I might just embark on a new career!

I hope the weather cools down for you, Simon. It has been too hot here as well, but we had a big thunderstorm yesterday and lost power. It was only out for about 6 hours but I didn’t turn the PC on because it kept rumbling in the distance. Today is a lot cooler and the humidity has dropped a bit. It feels much better.

Well Simon you might not be a groundhog but you are right that cooler days ARE coming (eventually). We have a cool week with rain here but it will be hot again I’m afraid before “REAL” Fall arrives. Meanwhile, thanks for keeping an eye on things !

Mornin’, Simon – You’re looking mighty handsome high up in the cat tree. I was just mentioning to my sister yesterday that we’re already halfway through August. Before you know it, Christmas will be here, our favorite holiday. Hope your weather cools down soon.
