Howdy gang, yes it’s me Simon and I’m still here on the green bench, but I’m sitting up listening this time. So what am I listening for you ask? Well, I think I heard the shower running and Dad is not in view. That’s very important. Why? Well, I guess you could say it’s important because treats might be involved. You see, it is pretty routine that after Dad has his shower he gives us some treats. You know I sure would not want to miss an opportunity for treats. No matter where I am if I hear Dad is showering I am on alert for treat time! Not everyone here likes treats believe it or not. Maxwell and Macy never want any treats. Sometimes Seal and Tinslee will partake but they aren’t frequent flyers. I’ll gladly take theirs though!!!

Smart boy! We learn what sounds mean around the house don’t we……for me, when I hear the pantry door in the kitchen opening I know treats are about to make an entry – I wait at the top of the stairs and sure enough, Mom eventually comes up with the “good stuff” !!

Our kitty Sophie never wanted any treats, so weird. At our house the kitties listened for the shower as they liked to go in and drink the leftover water in the shower.
Simon your daddy better never let you down when it comes to treat after running the shower. I can just imagine him being attacked by eight cats on time, lol.

Treats are always welcome and ours try to get extra treats during the day. Look at me…I’m so cute. I’m sure your babies do the same thing.

heres hoping you got your treats. Misty River loves treats, I mean REALLY loves treats. I picked her up this morning and I am thinking that treats might need to stop, either that or food….she is getting heavy

All the more for you! It’s funny how kitties learn to associate certain sounds and activities with treat time. Mudpie has learned that she gets half a squeezie after breakfast, half in the mid afternoon when I have a cup of coffee, and another half just before bed. She’s always ready and waiting too!
