Sister Saturday with Macy and the Leaf Thief

Hi Sierra Rub My Belly sister saturday macy 01 10252025

Hello everyone, it’s Sister Saturday time again. Where does the time go?!?! Dang, it’s gonna be Thanksgiving before you know it. Oh, and then we’ll be putting up our Christmas Tree, that’s always a fun time, but it does scare me and Maxwell when it first goes up. It seems strange to have a tree in the house but it does happen every year so we just go with the flow.

Hey, speaking of trees, somebody came by and stole most of the leaves from our trees, isn’t that rude? They were there the other day but now lots of them are gone. Oh, the Dad said he knows where they are at, they are in the gutters that he cleaned out not too long ago. Poor Papa, sounds like he will be back on gutter duty soon.

It’s been pretty quiet around here today, I wonder where everyone is at?!?! Usually there is a lot of running, romping and rolling going on about now but not today. Hmmmm, I suppose I sure go look for them and see what is going on. Well, maybe not, maybe I’ll just take a nap and see if they are all around later.

  1. Macy you are a delight to see this morning. And we have to agree with your dad, leaves off the trees are not a delight. He better be careful on that ladder. You’ll have to sit at the window and keep an eye on him.

  2. Macy, we just thought of a great way to help the Dad get rid of those leaves in the gutters. He should put you up there on the roof and you can swoosh that big fluffy tail of yours and sweep them out and on the ground.

  3. Mornin’, Miss Macy – Yes, it’s that time of year for “leaf thieves” but once their job is done, it’s done for another year. This is my favorite season and I look forward to it every year, but then, I don’t climb ladders to clean the gutters. Although I’ve done plenty of raking in my time!

  4. Macy, you are looking adorable as always. Cleaning up those leaves is not fun.
Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a great weekend. PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.

  5. Oh, those darn leaf thieves…we have them here, too.The nerve! I love the colorful leaves, and now they are disappearing more and more each day. You are so right, the time is flying by! Have a lovely weekend!

  6. Autumn can be a beautiful time of year, but it ends with the leaf stealing, most people don’t like that part very much.

A nap is a great idea, get one while it’s quiet and then you can rip and run with the rest of them when everyone gets up.

  7. Charlee: “We never have one of those trees here with the dangly things on them. Something about us cats climbing them and knocking them over and batting the dangly things around.”
Chaplin: “I don’t know why Mama and Dada think we would do that. They’ve never even given us the chance to prove we wouldn’t.”
Oona: “Oona totally would. It is the ninja thing to do.”
Charlee: “Uh-huh, I believe that. And Bean would probably pee on it.”
Java Bean: “It’s a fair cop.”
