Today we’re all thankful for good news from our Vet. Of course, good news from the Vet is always a great thankful and we are always happy when that happens. The good news wasn’t for me though, it was for our sweet brother Titan. Titan is very popular here, everyone loves that sweet boy. So what happened? Well, several days ago the Mom thought she felt something on Titan’s left leg, the Dad checked and he thought he felt a lump too. So, it was time for a Vet visit for Titan. Lumps are always scary.

Our Vet, Dr. A., from The Cat Clinic of Greenville, got Titan in quickly. An examination determined that it wasn’t a lump at all, it was a scrape wound of some sort. It appears that Titan must have gotten his leg stuck under something and he scraped the skin off of a part of his left leg. The scrape was healing up nicely and did not show any sign of infection. We don’t know what that silly boy did but we are glad all is okay with Titan and we’re thankful for that!

  1. Maxwell, thank you for the Titan ‘lump-that-wasn’t-really-a-lump’ information!
Something like that would have had Eastside Cats scrambling the jet for a visit to the vet in an eyeblink too.

  2. Hurray for the good news! Trips to the doctors and vets are always scary because one never knows what will happen. ❤️

  3. Thank goodness for Titan. I know only too well what a lump on a leg can mean. Angel Peepers lost a leg even though we found the lump early. Moms and dads do best when they see that you get to the doctor.

  4. Yay that it wasn’t a “lump!” Mommy’s always feeling me for lumps (it feels nice when she does it). Now she’s watching one at the base of my tail. Grrr. Lump, lump, go away, DON’T come again another day! XOX Xena

  5. The worry, and sometimes the fear that happens when one of our cats is sick or developed a concerning place on their body is an enveloping thing. All we think about.

  6. whew, lumps are scary! I remember finding a lump on our dog Chelsea but it wasn’t so good so Titan, this is party worthy! Cat treats for everyone!

  7. Oona: “Oona is glad to hear Titan is all right and that the lump is just a scrape of mysterious origin. Oona is sure Titan got it fending off evil perpetrators of some sort. LIKE A NINJA!”

  8. What great news. It was wise to check too. You just never know.

Thank you for hosting the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Being thankful is a good thing.

Have a fabulous day and rest of the week. Scritches to all the kitties and my very best to their wonderful peeps. ♥

  9. We are thankful you all continue to have this hop, as it is so important to focus on the things for which we are thankful. 12. That must’ve been scary! I remember when Mudpie developed a lump after receiving her rabies vaccine I was a basket case. I’m so happy to hear that precious Titan is ok.

  13. Thank COD that Titan is ok, as we were reading, we started to get supurr worried, but then the lump was not a lump but a healing wound, still not great, but so much better than a lump! Get well soon, Titan, and we’re thrilled the lump was a false alarm!

  14. I am so relieved it was not a lump, Mom says she hates them also, Titan please be careful and don’t give your parents a scare, thank you for your Thankful Thursday Blog Hop as always, have a wonderful weekend, with a woof from Nili
