Today is the 20th Annual Blog4Peace Event created by Mimi Lenox. We at Brian’s Home have always purrticipated in this event and it was something that our founder, Angel Brian, always, always looked forward to as he was such a big proponent of peace. This year the theme is simple, Speak Love. It sounds simple, but in our country we seem to have lost touch with that loving feeling. Instead it seems like everyone wants to be in attack mode and we need to rectify that situation. We can get there if we all take the first steps and I know we can do it.

As Pet Bloggers we all are the guardians of kindness and we try to show that each and every day. Let’s all be that someone who reminds us all to soften before we speak. That is powerful.   2. Yes, yes, yes, we need so much to keep our cortisols levels DOWN and smile at one another and shake hands and pat backs and snuggle kitties ASAP.

  5. I wish for world peace too. We have just come back from a cruise, and everyone was smiling and talking to each other, it was lovely. I wish every day life could be like that. when I smile at a stranger, sometimes they return the smile, but often I get a look as if I am weird!

  7. You are right. We’re the guardians of peace and love here in the CB. It is sad and jarring if anger seeps into our baby’s blogs. That’s not what we are here for, us kitties and woofies.

  27. In the past 20 years it seems as if we have made little progress toward peace, but Mom says she will keep praying that it will happen before she dies. We kitties aren’t optimistic.
