Sister Saturday: I Had a Fun Christmas

He Sierra, wanna dance?

Hello everyone, it’s me Tinslee and it’s already hard to believe that Christmas was two days ago. It seems like it was forever for the holiday to get here and then it”s gone quicker that Titan can eat a cardboard scratcher. We’ve got some photos to share with you next week, I think we do. Oh, not of Titan eating a cardboard scrather but of us kitties having a blast!

When is the New Year coming Sierra?

Now that Santa watch is over Simon told me it’s time to be on the lookout for 2026. I’m not really sure that the New Year will coming walking up the sidewalk but who knows, it just might do that. I wonder if I should make a list of New Year’s resolutions? Nah, probably not, I think I’ll use the one item list that the Dad put together. The Dad long ago, in a galaxy far, far away, resolved to not make New Year’s resolutions. Sounds like a good plan to me.

Hi Sierra, I don't like fireworks.

Goodness, look at my assistant back there, that’s Chipper and he’s being pretty nibby. Maybe he wants me to protect him. Protect him from what? Well, we had just a few fireworks going off on Christmas Eve. Most of us don’t like fireworks but they really do scare the Chipper. I told him I don’t think we’ll be that lucky on New Year’s Eve, there likely will be lots of fireworks going off. Bah Humbug to the fireworks I say!

Nappy time Sierra.

I am going to miss the Christmas Tree when it goes away, I really like it. Okay, that’s enough from me today, I’ll catch you soon. 1. We are so happy that you all had a good Christmas and we are ALSO keeping an eye out for the new year to arrive. Hopefully it will be QUIET but there are some fireworks nuts in our neighborhood so unless it SNOWS we’ll have noise. We will miss our tree in the library too – but I know it lives in a box in the basement and in a year from now Teddy will be waiting for that choo choo train and track to be under it – so he can SLEEP on it again! We wish all of you have a beautiful brand new year – we love you all!

    Hugs, Pam and Teddy too

  2. Oh, you kitties, you all give us such pleasure! And yes, it whistled by, didn’t it. All that prep for a little tidbit of a bird! We are on the blask-eyed pea saga now…

  3. from looking out the window to staring at the sparkling tree, you have much to watch and a nippy Chipper to console. No wonder your days are going so fast. Reading your post reminded me that tomorrow is the 28th of the month, which is the day I pay bills, ugh. that new year is coming fast. Can’t wait to see what the header will have for the new year..

  4. I am glad you all had a good Christmas. Ours was very quiet, just the two of us, but we enjoyed it. It is times like that when we miss the boys even more than ever.
I don’t make resolutions any more, I know I will only break them.
I hope the fireworks won’t be too bad for the New Year.

  5. We are so happy to hear that you had a great Christmas, Tinslee. I didn’t get to open my Christmas box until after our morning walk and we came home from yesterday’s walk – I was waiting for another Christmas box to open☺

  6. I enjoy seeing you all’s Christmas tree and all of you enjoying it! Hey…I think the New Year WILL be walking up the side walk. Here, it’ll drive in to the driveway!

  7. Mornin’, Tinslee & Chipper – I’m glad your Christmas was a lot of fun, but fireworks are certainly not part of the fun. We had a few here on Christmas Eve and they are not appreciated. Wishing everyone a Happy New Year!

  8. I believe a New Year, like each new day, likes to slip in on the sunrise.

It’s great to hear you had a fun Christmas, everyone misses the trees when they go.

As for the fireworks, i wish there was one place in each community where people could go to do that, and leave the rest of us alone.

  9. Tinslee, you did an excellent job reporting today. We wish we could stand on our stairs and look out the window. We can sit on a table or a radiator to see out front, so we guess that is okay. Wishing you all a very happy new year. XOCK, angels Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona & Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy, Sawyer, Kizmet, Audrey, Raleigh, Gibbs & Tali

  10. Hi Tinslee, and snooping Chipper, BOL! We’re sure glad our neighborhood didn’t have any fireworks! And we never did get our tree this year. Hmm, maybe next year, when Mom will be able to get into the shed where it’s stored…maybe. XXOXO Chia
I heard Dad say he got the shed all straightened around yesterday. Wonder if he found anything good in there. XOX Xena
