A Sister Saturday Lounging Seal

Come pet my furs Sierra.

Hello everyone, it’s me Seal the Elder, and I’m here for the first Sister Saturday of the new year. I remember when Simon and I were the young ones and now were the elders, geeze, how did that happen?!?! Anyways, I’m seriously lounging around today because holidays are exhausting. Okay, as an elder I always lounge around a lot but holidays really are exhausting. At least I found a sunpuddle first thing.

Meow Sierra!

It’s so nice to have such a terrific variety of lounging spots. I thought I’d stretch out a bit on the soft Christmas blankie before the Mom puts them away for another year. Our Mom has blankies for every season so I do know that what gets put on the bed next will be equally soft. I’ll sure be here to check them out!

Bath time Sierra!

Sometimes a girl has to just spiff up her furs, right girls?!?! I thought I’d hop up in one of the cat tree while I was getting my spiffified on. It is the weekend and who knows when a party might happen. Oh, speaking of parties, the newbies were sure frightened of the fireworks that went on and on and on New Year’s Eve. Poor bablies. I slept through them as did Kiki. Simon? Believe it or not he didn’t hide during the fireworks, way to go Simon!

Nap time Sierra

Okay, now, if you’ll excuse me I’m gonna head off to Snoozyville for a while. Have a wonderful weekend everyone! 1. Seal we think getting your snooze on is the best way to pass time during the holidays. Humans are busy so we have more time to nap and you all have lots of great nap opportunities at your house! Enjoy the start of this new year – hopefully it stays quiet!

    Hugs, Teddy and Mom Pam

  2. Good morning, Seal. You are looking spiffy and Purrfect to be the elder today. In our house we are all elders. your furs are looking amazing in the Sunbeams.. poor kitties and the fireworks. we live in a crazy world.

  3. Seal it is great to see you this Saturday morning. You look beautiful as always. Nice and fluffy. We’re certainly glad the firework noise is over for everyone else. I guess it was too cold and snowy here, lol.

  4. Cute photos Seal, you are looking beautiful. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a great day and happy weekend. PS, I appreciate your comment on my blog.

  5. Seal you are one beautiful lounging kitty! We were fortunate with fireworks this year; they were distant, so no kitties here were upset by them.

  6. Oona: “Oona’s Dada read this about you and Simon being the elders now and then he said something about Grandpa Simpson and how he used to be ‘with it’ but then they changed what ‘it’ was and anyway Oona decided he was rambling so she stopped listening.”
Charlee: “You’re not elders, anyway, Seal, you are just wise. That’s how you found the sun puddle first, among other things. Great job taking care of your furs, too, unlike some unkempt boys I could mention.”
Chaplin: “Are you talking about me? You’re talking about me, aren’t you?”
Charlee: “If the kempt fits, un it.”

  7. Being the youngest of my familial generation, this body no longer agrees. lol Where does your mom get those awesome seasonal blankets? Hugs to you and your lovely family.

  8. There’s one of the advantages of being an elder, you and Simon aren’t bothered by the fireworks. You both know it comes, it goes, it causes no harm, so you can simply let it go.

Anyway, enjoy your weekend, I hope it stays quiet now.
