Sister Saturday with Winter Storm Watch Tinslee

Hi Sierra, I'm watching for the storm.

Hello everyone, it’s me the Tinslee and I’m on storm watch today. Why? I don’t really know, I was told by Maxwell that someone has to do it so here I am. Truthfully though, the others are looking out too. The storm really isn’t supposed to start until mid-afternoon sometime so at that point we all might run and hide.

Meow Sierra from me and Seal

I did ask my sister Seal if she had seen anything of the Winter Storm yet but she said she hadn’t and that I should go somewhere else and look. Oh, okay, I think she is ready for a nap or something.

Come look out the window with me Giovanni.

Nope, nothing out front yet. Well, not bad weather, I do see some squirrels out front running in the yard. I think they’ve already hid their nuts for the season. Hey, this is the South, there are all kind of nuts around here!

I have room on the bench for you Gabie.

Since Seal left for the big bed I claim a part of the green bench. I’ll jus do my yoga Om for a while and ponder happier non-storm things. Namaste everyone! Have a most wonderful Sister Saturday everyone.. Please remember to visit our stores on Etsy and at The Tee Shirt Site.  Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

  1. Tinslee it’s nice that you’re the official storm watcher for your household. I have that job here and I’m thinking it’s a BIG responsibility. We think we’re ready for the snow – we’re supposed to get quite a bit and some ice too so we’re “hunkered down” (whatever that means….Dad said we were). Stay safe, stay warm and if you see anything out there, let everyone else know!

    Hugs, Teddy

  2. Great job Tinslee. I hope the storm doesn’t hit you hard and you all stay safe. We are having a storm too, torrential rain and gale force wins, but thankfully not snow. We seem to be getting one storm after another, but this one is circulating over the SW since yesterday morning and won’t move on.

  3. prayers the storm will not be bad and scary for all of you and your outdoor gang. and that your power will stay on and keep you warm and safe… we are watching the storm with you

  4. Good for you, Tinslee, keeping up with the arrival of the storm! They said the wintry mix would miss us but now they are back to saying we have a chance of getting it. Somekitty here should follow your example and go on storm watch!

  5. Tinslee you are doing a fine job of watching for the storm. But that will make a cat very sleepy. It was rather nice that you ended up with the green bench. Let’s hope you don’t actually see the storm, that’s what we’re hoping up here, lol.

  6. I love my green bench is featured today.
OMCs we are supposed to start as snow and sleet about 4 transitioning to all freezing rain by 11 pm
    I detest it
    Crazy scary
    Everybuddy hates it
    Hugs cecilia

  7. We hope the storm isn’t as ferocious as they are predicting for everyone, Tinslee.
Our temps are negative without windchill, and they predict a couple of inches to a foot of snow.
While this isn’t abnormal weather for us, we know that a whole lot of folks are going to be impacted, so we send purrs to all.

  8. Hello,
Being a storm watcher is an important job. It could be here overnight. Cute kitties and photos. Stay warm and safe. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a great weekend. PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.

  9. We’re all on storm watch too, here in Chattanooga. We got some light snow earler, and the skies are very gray. Next we’re supposed to get ice falling from the sky. Yikes! I hope I’m not outside trying to potty when that happens! Mom says that yes, here in the South, there ARE all kinds of nuts around. Then she laughed…I guess she likes having the squirrels around. XOX Xena and my pack

  10. Oh wow that is some good Yoga. I have been reading that Yoga will help my ankle when I am at the stage, so maybe you can show me some of your moves Tinslee. Great photos too. Hope the storm isn’t bad…sure I’ve said this before but we never trust the weather-people over in Scotland, unless they say it’s gonna rain haha! :-D

  11. Mornin’, Tinslee – I feel better knowing you are on storm watch (as are your siblings) and that your vigilance is helping to keep your family safe and on the alert. Good job! I hope the storm passes by and there is no damage.

  12. Charlee: “From what we’ve heard, it seems like the storm is mostly performing as advertised! We know you guys will all be staying safe and warm inside!”
Lulu: “I sure would love to go play in the snow though. Too bad we never get anything like that here.”
Chaplin: “I’m pretty sure snow like that here in coastal San Diego County would be the apocalypse.”
