Thankful Thursday Blog Hop: Gone Fishing

Hi Sierra, come play!

Hello everyone, it’s me Maxwell and I’m here for Angel Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Thanks to you all for stopping by. We are always thankful to each of you for joining us!  Each and every Thursday we share the things for which we are most thankful and we always enjoy reading all of the things you are thankful for too. If you are new to Angel Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, thanks for hopping in, we really do get excited when new blogger pals join us!

Today on Thankful Thursday I want to tell you that we are thankful that Santa brought us a Fishing Pole for Christmas. Some of you may have one but none of us here now have had one. It’s a real one too, the package said for toddlers. Really? Should we be insulted?!?! Anywho, it sure is fun, especially when the Dad tosses it up here in the cat tree. It has a solid yellow fish tied on the line and when the Dad tosses it we chase it where ever it goes. Did you know that our Dad was a professional fisherman a long time ago? He can cast the fish just about anywhere he wants it to go. We will share a photo of the action tomorrow. Thanks Santa, we’re loving our fishing pole!

So, what are you thankful for today? Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.  Please remember to visit our stores on Etsy and at The Tee Shirt Site.  Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

  1. Maxwell what a fun Thursday Thankful
    Reminded me of the rhyme
    fishy fishy in the brook
daddy caught him on a hook
mom cooked him in a pan…
Hugs and do tell us more fish tales

  2. Well now, I just told my Mom that I would REALLY appreciate it if she’d keep an eye out for a fishin’ pole that we can play with….she can cast the line and I can be the big shark grabbing the bait! What a fun toy that must be…………..

    Hugs, Teddy

  3. I can’t wait to see it, and it seems to me that you kitties did not get a fishing pole, but the Dad got a fishing pole. We did not know dad loves to fish.. Bob is fisherman to the bone. You should see him throw a giant cast net, and he won a turnament with a 200 lb fish back in 1985 the year we got married.

  4. Maxwell that sounds like the perfect gift to give all of you for playing. Can’t wait to see the video. And think of all the fish your dad probably caught over the years! We used to go fishing too but we haven’t for a while.

  5. We had no idea Dad Terry had been a professional fisherman. Your new toy sounds like fun. It’s always nice to get something from Santa that you enjoy. We are thankful that our mom had so many thankfuls and that Angel Brian continues with the hop. 6. Gee! Sounds like you all are having FUN!!! Pawsome!
My fun is watching men in hardhats trimming tree limbs
so they will not affect the power lines. I would not want to lose power
as that would make it cold!
You look pawsome sitting up there !!!

  7. How fun. It’s always fun to play with the peeps. I’m thankful for all the wonderful bloggers I’ve found over the years.

Thank you for hosting the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday and rest of the week. Scritches to all the kitties and my very best to their wonderful peeps. ♥

  8. I fished as a little girl, for rainbow trout in a stocked pond in North Carolina… like fishing in a barrel

  9. Hanging in there with my husband in hospice, dementia care, and now my mother has entered hospice care. When it rains it pours! I’m hanging in there. Coming here is a very nice break. Bless all our friends here Aloha!

  10. WOW, we want to hear more about the pro fisherman in your family!!! Mama’s papa used to fly fish in Canada for salmon and loved it…very meditative and calming in his busy life.

  11. We hope you’re all catching that fish once in a while. Our Mommy read that laser pointers are bad toys because we can’t ever catch them. Then we get frustrated and bad things happen. Anyhoo, happy fishing! XOX Xena and my pack

  12. Mornin’, handsome Maxwell – That’s interesting that your dad used to be pro fisherman. I’ll bet from time to time he regales you all with lots of stories.

  13. Haha brilliant. I have a similar toys and the cats love them. I always say I am going cat-fishing! Mean something different nowadays though!

That’s cool. Didn’t know that about your dad :-D And looking gorgeous as ever Maxwell :-D

  14. Wow that sounds like so much fun. I cannot wait to see a photo of your Dad fishing as Mom says it is very relaxing, her father taught her. As always thank you so much for your Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, have a wonderful week
