Guess what gang? It’s 23 days until Spring and yes, I’m counting. I hope everyone up the East Coast way are safe and will be able to dig out from the snow really soon. Here we’re still cold but the warm stuff is coming back on Friday, we hope. If it really is warm this weekend there will be some noise as the Dad will be rushing the Noisy Season. The Dad will be mowing the yard for the first time this Mowing Season. Our yard got confused with all the warm temps last week and the grass and the weeds are both popping up. The Dad is pretty polite and tries to minimize the noise for those of us with sensitive hearing.

That messy storm went north of us and we just got “remnants” of it fortunately. Still, we definitely are READY for better weather…..”SPRING – WHEREFOR ART THOU???” !!

Time and we hope your dad can mow grass. Thankfully we only had a few inches of snow to shovel and I doubt if we see our grass by friday. You’re looking exceptionally handsome this morning.
We hope we don’t need to hear the mower until at least mid April. May cold and snow stick around for us, you can keep the warm weather.
The grass here in Chi-Town is still brown, so it will be a while yet before we hear those noisy mowers. At least our grass is not hiding under all of that snow the eastern part of our country is getting.
Our grass went dormant when we had the big freeze a couple of weeks ago.

Gosh, we haven’t seen grass in ages! As I recall – it’s green, right, Simon. All we see is white, white and more white.
I’m glad you survived the big storm. We have flowers popping out here and there. We’re ready for spring.

It will be a long while yet, here…even witrh the past warm week, it only melted the snow so nothing is growing here…yet. But there might be noise here, too, though, as we know *she* has to work on a tree that fell onto our fence a few weeks ago when we had very strong and noisy winds. Sigh, always something…
I’m not looking forward to Noisy Season because mowing our bumpy lawn is a pain. Also, I think some neighbors spend way more time than necessary. Perhaps these men want to get out of the house. lol But it’s annoying when they drive me indoors on a nice day. Best wishes!
