The other day we showed you a photo our our sweet feral Good Looker, she is the one that has vision problems. This is Mr. Black, he is the boss cat of our feral clowder. He is also the caretaker of Good Looker and she walks with him and up against him so she doesn’t lose her way. Mr. Black also has refused the offer to come inside but we told him the offer stands. Mr. Black protected Maxwell and Macy when they were outside before being trapped. He wouldn’t let anyone else mess with them. He’s a good dude, he really is.
Today Mr. Black is joining in on Feline Friday hosted by Messy Mimi’s Meanderings and it is simple to join. All you have to do is: Post a picture, drawing, cartoon or video of a cat (They may be silly or cute).
Please remember to visit our stores on Etsy and at The Tee Shirt Site. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Mr. Black sound like a very special cat……he helps those who need help and protects those who need protection. Outdoor cat colonies need a leader and he sure sounds like one!
Hugs, Pam and Teddy
He’s a very handsome fellow…and a good example for other kitties to emulate!
Mr. Black is handsome, and also a good protector.
Mr Black is a fantastic cat obviously. Maybe he’s afraid to come in because he knows everyone outside depends on him.
I love reading about the ferals and learning about their personalities and what they do within the clowder. I enjoyed reading about and seeing Good Looker, and now Mr. Black. He is a cat among cats. Very intelligent I think, but regardless, he takes good care of his “people”.
Mr Black is handsome! He is a good protector! Take care, happy Friday! Have a great weekend.
I am so glad he is helping Good Looker and helped Macy & Maxwell. Mr Black is a wonderful boy and looks like my Stitch. Mr Protector :-D
That is so amazing how he cares for the others, especially the poor kitty who can’t see.
what a wonderful mini panther your mr. black is… hugs to your feral furmily
Mr Black is handsome AND a great guy too. A purrfect combo.
What a gorgeous black cat! Terry, trying to get him and GOOD LOOKER in…so wonderful that you are helping those cats!!!!
What a pretty boy you are, Mr. Black…and a real gentleman!!
xoxo,
Rosy & Sunny
Mr. Black is a handsome dude, and we hope he and his love take you up on your offer when they’re ready.
Purrs,
The Chans
I love Mr. Black. I’ve known other ferals like him, and an example of how cats can thrive and live communally with enough resources. He’ll come inside when no other member of his clowder needs his protection because he loves you humans too.
Mr. Black is so good to help the other cats. It’s too bad he doesn’t want to come inside to live a safer life.
Mr. Black seems to be a fine, upstanding leader of the clowder.
Mr. Black seems to be the purrfect cat for the job of being the boss of the ferals. You are doing a great job!
Oona: “That Mr. Black is a solid-looking ninja, and Oona is happy to hear how he defended Maxwell and Macy. His top secret ninja mission outdoors obviously isn’t finished yet, but when it is, Oona hopes he and his charge Good Looker both decide to come inside and join the rest of you.”
Mornin’, Mr. Black – I think you know how important you are to the ferals. You’re needed outside, and Good Looker especially depends on you. Bravo, Mr. Black! P.S. You’re indeed handsome!
Mr. Black is a very handsome friend. Thank him for pawticipaing in Feline Friday
Hugs cecilia
What a handsome cat dude! An all around good guy! We had a black feral like that too, the late Uncle Jack, who looked out for the others and would not come inside.
Mr Black is handsome and loving feral it would seem ~ Wish humans were more like you and your hubby ~ hugs, ^_^
Aww, what a special kitty that Mr. Black is. We hope at some point he might come inside but then again, I guess he is needed more outside protecting some of the other kitties.
Aww He sounds like a good cat.
Awww maybe he doesn’t want to come in because he takes his job so seriously?
You are one very handsome boy, Mr Black and an excellent friend to Good Looker!
Mr Black seems like the best kitty any feral group could want/need. Too bad he and Good Looker don’t want to enjoy the comforts of indoor life.
We wish Mr Black well as he is the Good Boss of the feral crew !
What a heartwarming tale. I hope he accepts this amazing offer!
He is absolutely gorgeous!!!
So sweet! Mr. Black is a beautiful boy. And quite the gentleman too, it seems!
Uy que lindo . Te mando un beso.
Mr. Black, I salute you. You are the kind of leader a feral clowder needs. Thank you for linking up with Feline Friday.
Mr. Black is a good one to practice animal communication with as he has a very strong presence. <3 We love him.
It warms my heart that he is so protective. ❤️
A tip of the tail to the gentlemanly Mr Black
