Happy Tabby Tuesday with Simon the Counter

Hi Sierra, you gonna come brush me?

Howdy gang! It’s now 16 days until Spring and yes, I’m counting and counting. It felt like Spring here for a few days, it was nice and warm, but now the cooler stuff is back at it again. Oh, remember I said the Dad was gonna cut the grass last Friday? Well, it didn’t happen because it rained the days before, but he did get the yard mowed on Sunday. Now we’re officially in yard mowing Season MOL! One last thing, if you could send some purrs my way I would appreciate it. I have the loosie poopies and it’s not fun. I’ll catch y’all later!

  1. I can’t wait for spring, Simon. It is sunny this morning and forecast to stay like that until Friday when it will be cloudy but no rain. No lawn mowing going on here for a while, the ground is still totally waterlogged.

  2. Well we had a little bit of snow and sleet yesterday and haven’t seen a sign of grass in the yard yet so you’re WAY WAY ahead of us! I’m watching for a sign though that Spring might be making a move in our direction!

    Hugs, Teddy

  3. Dear Simon we are sorry to hear there’s a bit of an issue with you and the litter box. Hope things get better real quick. Otherwise you look so handsome. You don’t have to worry about grass cutting here yet. We have frozen ground but it is raining this morning. That is an improvement.

  4. Simon, you can count on it!!!! Purrs are well on the way. Mom doesn’t count till Spring because: She said in our part of TN. you get maybe a 4 day Spring. The rest is Summer with a capital S! Boiling hot and humid to boot.

  5. We aren’t quite at the stage of cutting the grass over here! It was frosty this morning and my leg didn’t like the cold! Lovely photo Simon :-D

  6. Loose poops and no fun and we will send lots of POTP for you, Simon! We are anxious for warmer weather too. Hopefully, tomorrow’s rain will get rid of lots of our snow!

  7. Hard to think ’bout Spring as we watched snow falling all day yesterday … sigh. Sorry ’bout your tummy troubles, you must’ve caught my “little bug” from a week ago, hope yours goes away quickly like mine did. Mine Mommy thinks I ate something I wasn’t s’posed to eat … mebbe.

  8. Hi:-) I’m Olive and haven’t stopped in here recently. Just want to share my latest news. Mom is getting a roommate and bringing her boy Tyson with her. Since Mom’s new puppy Skeeter joined the family, he keeps me running away all the time and took away Frankie, my pal. I have needed a friend and now I learn Tyson is also a barn cat and a handsome fellow. It will be exciting to meet him.

  9. Simon, those lovely pale green eyes! We’re in yard mowing season here again too! Redbud is starting to bloom! A cascade of purrs headed your way!

  10. You’re so handsome Simon and I always know I’ll see you each Tuesday. We’re waiting for spring too. We’ll countdown together.

Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Scritches to the precious kitties and my very best to their wonderful peeps. ♥

  11. Mornin’, Simon – I hope you are feeling better by the time your Dad and Mom read this to you. And that it clears up so you don’t have to make a trip to the vet’s.

  12. Oh dear, feel better, Simon. Misty knows all about loosie poopies and it is no fun. We have had rain off and on for a few days and our grass is getting greener every day. Now we have the threat of bad storms coming our way. Not to our liking – Misty is in hiding behind the sofa and the worst of the storms isn’t expected until Friday!!! Tis the season in Kansas.

  13. Yep, the lawn mowers have started here, too, although our yard hasn’t needed it yet. Soon.

I’m praying your loosie poopies go away soon.

  14. I am so sorry about your issues. As much as I enjoy the burst of spring flowers, I dread mowing season. My husband often offers to hire a service but I’ve declined due to the cost and the fact it’s good for me to stay active. Be well!

  15. Charlee: “Our Dada uses rain as an excuse not to mow our lawn, too. Mostly because his mower plugs into the wall with a long cord and our Mama thinks he’s going to electrocute himself …”
