Hello everyone, it’s the first Saturday of Spring and it seems to have sprung here, it sure has been nice, at least so far. Our Mom said to tell you all thanks for the nice birthday wishes yesterday! We tried our best to make sure that she had a happy day. They went out to eat at their favorite restaurant and no, they didn’t bring home a goodie bag.
I like to play in the egg too, we have two eggs, this one and one scrambled (flattened down). Actually I like to curl up and sleep in here but I have to still be on alert. Sometimes Chipper comes by and pounces on the egg with me inside. That’s not fun for me but I’m sure Chipper thinks it’s a blast MOL!
I thought I’d try up higher on the steps today instead of down yonder looking out at the birdies. Actually, I think the view down yonder is probably a better view. I couldn’t really see any birdies or squirrels from up here. I will head back down there in a bit and check out the action in the front yard.
This was the last day for the St. Patrick’s Day blankies, too bad because boy are they soft. Yes, that’s Simon and Seal behind me. I wonder what blankies will come out next?!?! Tinslee we’re glad your Mom enjoyed all her birthday wishes and had a happy day. You look like you’re on the alert in that egg in case somebody decides to leap on top and surprise you!! Spring is SORT OF here – we have a predicted high of upper 60s today so that’s a good step TOWARD Spring around here.

Tinslee I bet the next blankies are covered in great big beautiful colorful flowers in honor of spring. Will be glad when it gets here which probably be sometime in april. I’m not sure about having somebody jump on me either when I’m in bed!

A meal out is such a treat. Most restaurants can send home “doggie bags,” but what’s in them isn’t really good for kitties. Although once I brought home part of a steak and left it unguarded and then heard the loudest purring ever. Takanumi (my solid white cat) was chowing down and purring up a storm.
Watching the birdies is a good way to spend part of the day.
Soft blankets are a must on a bed, I hope you have some excellent ones for spring.
I know I am a dog but I think I would be comfortable in an egg
