Thankful Thursday Blog Hop: Our Thankful Ferals

Hi Sierra, tell Giovanni and Gabie I said Meow.

Hello everyone, it’s me Maxwell and I’m here for Angel Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Thanks to you all for stopping by. We are always thankful to each of you for joining us!  Each and every Thursday we share the things for which we are most thankful and we always enjoy reading all of the things you are thankful for too. If you are new to Angel Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, thanks for hopping in, we really do get excited when new blogger pals join us!

Today our Ferals wanted to say how thankful they are for the daily food, water and shelter during bad weather. One in particular, who goes by the handle Good Looker, is particularly thankful. This is our almost blind feral and she is often the first to find the morning breakfast bowl. She is the one we invited in during the freezing temperature days but she wasn’t really brave enough for that. As you can see, she is still interested in coming in and Tyler Mouse is trying to welcome her in. But she hasn’t been brave enough to step in the door when the Dad opens it for her. We’re thankful that she is part of our feral family and we’d welcome her in if she chooses to take that step.

So, what are you thankful for today? Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.  Please remember to visit our stores on Etsy and at The Tee Shirt Site.  Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

  1. Good Looker sure is aptly named. We’re so grateful your folks take such good care of them, too. We sure hope Good Looker decides that inside is a good place at some point. XO

  2. Good Looker is a most beautiful girl…her furs look so healthy and even thou she can’t see she has very soulful eyes.
I’m thankful she found your home where she has TLC

  3. Maxwell, you are so handsome! We just love that picture of you! That feral really is a Good Looker! We hope she comes inside but we know that often they just won’t. All our kitties, (all from the street), and we humans too, appreciate that you are looking out for the ferals!

  4. Well she looks like she at least THINKS about what it must be like to have an “inside” home instead of coping outside. But we also know the shelter and food you all offer to the visiting ferals is a very welcome refuge to them. She’s a pretty girl – sorry she’s almost blind…..perhaps as things become more “dim” for her she’ll reconsider being IN vs. OUT?

    Hugs, Pam and Teddy

  5. Awww, Good Looker sure looks like a sweet lady cat. Maybe one day she’ll be brave enough to step over that threshold. Thanks to you all for being so good to the feral community.

  6. I imagine a life outside is all the poor thing understands. So she can’t quite picture coming through the door. It’s a Wonderful setup that Dad and Mom have going on the deck for all the outdoor kitties. We appreciate seeing a couple pictures of them because it has been a while.

  7. She is beautiful! How scary to be a blind feral. Hopefully she will one day decide to take you all up on your invitation but the decision is probably much more difficult for her since she can’t see.

  8. Mom and I, she love learning about and seeing the ferals. I so hope that Good Looker will make the decision to visit with all of you inside so that she can see what a fine home she would have.

  9. Oh how I wish I could have a cat like your good looker, she is beautiful and has overcome so much

  10. Hello Maxwell,
I am glad you and your family are taking such good care of the feral kitties. Cute photos.

    Take care, enjoy your day!

  11. Mornin’ Maxwell (and Good Looker) – Your ferals are indeed very fortunate to be right where they are. The care they receive is thanks to a loving Dad and Mom, who have opened up their hearts.

  12. I hope she comes in and is cared for. She deserves it. So beautiful.

I’m thankful for all my blogging buddies. I’m thankful for all the kitties and pups that I love to visit.

Thank you for hosting the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday and rest of the week. Scritches to the kitties and my very best to their wonderful peeps. ♥
