Feline Friday with a Visit from Mr. Black

Hi Sierra, it's me, Mr. Black!
Kiki, Titan and Mr. Black

Our sweet feral Mr. Black still isn’t interested in coming inside but he likes to visit on his way to the feeding station. Today Kiki and Titan were the designated greeters. All three decided it would be fun to join in on Feline Friday hosted by Messy Mimi’s Meanderings and it is simple to join. All you have to do is: Post a picture, drawing, cartoon or video of a cat (They may be silly or cute).

  1. It’s nice that he’s at least open to stopping by to say hello and grab a bite to eat. Mr. Black does look like he may be a bit curious about the “inside crew”. I suppose some cats who are so used to the outdoor life really can’t imagine what it would be like to be “on the other side of the glass” !

  2. You know as was the commenter above me here, I too am amazed there is no jealousy, or home turf anxiety, all the things that could happen, don’t— thanks to your fur family. They are marvelously calm and content and SECURE in the knowledge that they need not fear. You know, I still think of Precious after all this time and how she was never able to bring herself to go down the stairs and join the family. Sitting on the landing seeing how wonderful that would be and still…not joining anyone. After all that time!

  3. Mr Black looks like our friendly Feral Loki (who used to be Lucifer). No he has not yet been caught, though he will let Mom and Mary (almost) touch him! They have not had the trap out since last fall and are thinking they will get it and try (yet again) to catch him to get him spayed. He is a much better neighbor than he was. He prefers cat food t his feeding station to hanging out at the local bird feeders. He is not spraying peoples houses and he is not fighting with the local cats. He does come and hang out on our deck with us and he loves to hang with Mary’s Cats! We are glad that you greet him when he visits! Keep being AWESOME guys! Marvelous Marv

  4. Mornin’, Kiki, Titan & Mr. Black – Maybe Mr. Black is having second thoughts about joining the household seeing how interested Kiki and Titan are on checking on his well-being.

  5. Mr. Black, oh my, what a handsome cat dude! I bet all the kitties would like him. He reminds me of our late Uncle Jack, our “Kittens” were cool with him too, but he would not come in.

  6. Mr Black is a handsome boy. He may never be a “house cat” but at least he has a family who cares about him and feeds him and takes care of him.

  7. Mr. Black is quite striking. I thank him, Titan and Kiki for joining the Feline Friday blog hop!
