Hello everyone, it’s me Seal, but I’m sure you already guessed it was me. Guess what else? It’s trim time, it really is. My mane is really in need of a trim, to say the least. I’m gonna ask the Dad if he can take care of that for me. All of my furs seem to stay pretty neat, but this mane of mine sure grows quickly and becomes unruly after a while. Wish me luck on the taming of the mane!
I hear some more rain outside, it’s kind of loud. None of us like it when the thunderboomers roll through. They don’t bother me as much as some of the others, a few of them get pretty jumpy and do a lot of hiding. I do miss the sunpuddles though, it’s really been gloomy.
Maybe I’ll just stay up here in one of the cat tree cubbies for a while. Why? Well, why not?!?! It’s a good place to see what is going on in the living room without getting trampled by some of the wild running by the young ones. Boy, they do get wound up sometimes, mostly in the mornings.
Okay, I guess that wraps it up for me today. I’ll be seeing you all around the Blogosphere really soon. That was such a fun update! 🐾
Rainy days do make the sunpuddles feel extra precious, but your cubby hideaway in the cat tree sounds like the perfect spot to watch the world go by without getting caught in the morning zoomies.
Hi Seal! Isn’t it nice to have a choice of spots to relax and watch the activities of the household? The green bench, cubbies, trees – lots of good places. As for your mane – it is pretty when its’ long but probably gets in the way when you eat……your FACE should be in your food and not your MANE! LOL Happy Saturday!
Hugs, Teddy and Mom Pam
You will be even more beautiful all trimmed up, Seal! Rain is coming in for us too for the next couple of days and we sure do need it!
Seal, getting a trim always makes one feel great…if the stylist is good! 😉
You could send a bit of rain our way. We haven’t had a lot this Spring and our gardens could use the watering.
Seal, mew are just too cute!!! Mew look gorgeous today, and we loved your update, Pandora is in need of a trim too!! MOL Happy Caturday and we hope your weekend is epic!!
Seal you look so beautiful but I do imagine that fluffy ruff does need to be trimmed occasionally. Angel Peepers had the same problem. We’ve had the wet up here too, inches of it. But we have not had a drought so we could have done with a little less.
We hope that order can be brought to your mane with minimum disturbance, Seal.
Wishing you all a great Saturday!
Purrs,
The Chans
We finally have some sunshine today :-) Hope you guys get some soon too.
Seal, your mane is magnificent, but indeed, getting a little wild! We, and our kitties here don’t like those thundery rainstorms either.
We’re sure you will look even more beautiful when your Dad does that trim for you. Please send us some of that rain.
Seal, you are just purrfection!
However, if that ruff is getting rough, then it’s time to get tough.
You look beautiful, Seal. I love your luxurious mane.
Oh Seal, papa is your mane man!!
Seal, we hope that beautiful mane of yours will get trimmed this weekend. A day at the spa sounds very good to us.
Mornin’, beautiful Seal – We don’t like thunder and lightning either. But don’t mind when it (quietly) rains at night and then in the morning everything smells fresh and woodsy.
Sweet Seal, if you were here I would hold you and love on you, you precious girl. Then I’d take my thinning shears and take care of your main mane problem! Mom Amy
Why do I have the feeling as if he/she is crying like he/she has teary eyes. Hug!
Sister Seal on Saturday you are looking quite fine even with your mane. And I see you on my green bench too
Hugs cecilia
Seal, you are beautiful. I love your pretty mane. Take care, enjoy your day and happy weekend.
It is so nice to see this pretty Seal post and link today. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a great day and a happy weekend! PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.
Great photos Seal. You have gorgeous eyes :-D
Good luck on getting it trimmed! 😊
My angel Luna needed her mane trimmed sometimes and now I do the same with Dandelion. Both handled it well, as does Polly when I have to cut the occasional knot from beneath her chin. I’ll bet you are an absolute dear during the process, sweat Seal.
I’m glad you have a safe spot from which to watch the wild rumpuses of the younger crew. The mane will get fixed up just fine, I know it will.
That is a gorgeous mane you have. I ordered a shirt from your Etsy shop the other day. A 250th US birthday with a cat on it. XO
Seems like it’s rainy everywhere this weekend!
That was a great update, seal. Thank you for catching us up! We hope you get some sunny weather there — it’s been rainy and cold here lately, too. Hugs!
You make sure everyone understands thatvis your spot,
Darlin you good with a full mane or it cut short. Such a pretty girl
Your mane is furry purrty, Seal, but I suppose it COULD get in the way sometimes. Mummy is also going to have her “mane” trimmed later this week (mol)!
Chaplin: “I have a big mane too, Seal! For the most part Mama and Dada say I am a medium-hair but when it comes to the ruff I’m pretty epically furry.”
Charlee: “You should just fully commit to one or the other, Chaplin!”
You need a spa day, Seal! Every girl cat does!
Hi Seal,
I hope the mane trim went well for you.
Emily and Willow needed a bit of trimming as well.
The rain and thunder hit our area as well. It rained alot!
We hope you get your sun puddles back soon.
Hopefully the sun has returned and you can enjoy sun puddles again. Sorry for being so late commenting. This was another one of your posts that went into our Google spam folder. Apologies.
My middle name is Lucille, my mother was Lucille and called Cille, which means we share a name. I am really jumpy with the thunder BOOMS, I despise lighting storms, but we really need a few. our drought continues. you look wonderful Seal
