Seal On Her Sister Saturday

Hi Sierra!

Hello everyone, how are you? Me? I’m doing good so I thought I’d jump in with my post for Sister Saturday. My photos today were taken before I got my bib trimmed up, but I did get it trimmed. Maybe next time I do my post we will have photos with my bib looking better.

Comfy blankie boys!

It’s still been hot and sunny here in the South and lots of times in the evenings there have been thunderboomers around. The other night the boomers were really loud and most of the others went in to hiding. Not me though, I’m not really afraid of the boomers, although one of them did make me look up and look around. But then I went back to sleep.

Come brush me Sierra!

I did come back out to the living room to listen to The Price Is Right. Mama was watching it so I thought I’d join her. I was really more interested in watching my Mama than I was watching the TV MOL!

Nap time boys!

I think it’s about nap time though, so here’s a rub my tummy pic for you. Yes, I do like belly rubs, not that you were wondering. Have a fun Saturday everyone! 1. Seal you always look fabulous no matter whether you’re “trimmed” or “untrimmed” ! Main thing is you’re happy and feeling good. Hope you and all of your family have a nice, peaceful weekend!

    Hugs, Pam and Teddy

  2. Seal, we think you look quite beautiful with your bib just the way it is. Sometimes I watch Lynn watch tv. It’s just what cats do. We had terrible smoke yesterday from Canada, but a thunder Boomer went through about 7:00 p.m. last night and washed it all away. Hot and humid but at least it smells clean.

  3. We’re like you, Seal, not afraid of thunderboomies. We had an almighty storm on Thursday night, but not one of us even moved!

We’re looking forward to seeing photos of you after your bibcut!

    Purrs,
    The Chans

  4. In our house, Seal, da Mama is the one afraid of the boomers. Beau and Dad pay them no mind. We had a 5 hour boomer/flashes yesterday and wow was that a long morning. it came at 1:30 in middle of the night. another one coming now… you look beautiful to us… always beautiful

  5. Aw, Seal, you are a beauty inside and out! As to those boomers? The Z Kids don’t really mind them much…inside, Zoey will bark at the louder ones sometimes – like Ducky used to – but Zen pretty much ignores them.

Outside, Zoey ignores them but Zen will find me and stay close. I’m pretty sure he’s uncomfortable outside with boomers because I am. I don’t trust approaching thunderstorms, so I always get the Zs inside as quickly as possible. I read a story in the newspaper one day back in 2008 of a kid whose older Golden Retriever was killed by a lightning bolt that had hit a tree she was laying under and the energy traveled down the trunk and into the roots she was resting on. That story shook me up so bad that Callie ended up with storm phobia (she hadn’t had it previously). To this day, that story brings a lump to my throat. And I will not let my pups stay outside any longer than necessary if I hear boomers in the distance.

  6. Seal, your Seal of approval is GR8! And don’t worry about your untrimmed bib, cause we couldn’t take our eyes off YOUR eyes. They’re as beautiful as always. XOX Xena, Lucy and Chia

  7. Hello,
Cute photos of Seal! My dog Miney does not seem to mind the thunder, some times it is really loud and scary.
Happy Saturday, enjoy your day and happy weekend.

  8. It looks like you are having a great Sister Saturday. Enjoy watching your mama watching TV!

  9. Dalton seems not to mind thunderstorms, or fireworks for that matter, Benji gets clingy, so likely he is anxious, but he doesn’t tremble and hide like some dogs we knew.
Our kitties only seemed to be bothered buy the most severe storm noises…esp our first kitty, he came to us as an adult, and once while we both were at work, we got home after a bad storm.and Groucho was hiding…he came out with a loud crash…he had jumped behind the china hutch, and when he came out, he knocked down our mantle clock. My father had to give it a heart and guts transplant to make it work again…now it stands in a pet free room, LOL! (My father was a watch/clock maker by trade.)

  10. Oh, Seal, maybe just a little trim at the beauty purlor….take a little off the sides and make yourself cooler? Mama could trim you….no, eh? Okay. Another time….

  11. Seal is adorable! Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a great day and a happy week ahead! PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.
