I know this is not the post you expected to see this morning, it’s not what I was expecting to post either. Dad Terry here. Our most beautiful Seal crossed her Rainbow Bridge yesterday. Her liver values tanked and he let us know that she was ready to go be with Angel Brian. She always loved Brian and Brian loved her too.
We’ve had lots of cats over the years but our sweet Seal was the kindest most gentle cat we’ve ever had. She loved everyone, loved to snuggle, loved to purr, was most excellent at taking any kind of medicine she needed. Every night for her ten years on this earth she slept between us. We will miss that special time of having Seal on her own pillow that her Mama bought just for her. We are so fortunate that this wee feral kitten showed up in our yard with her brother Simon. God couldn’t have sent us a better gift and we will cherish the love she brought to our home forever and ever. Run free dear Seal, you will always be loved and will always be remembered.
Heartfelt thanks to our Vet and the staff at The Cat Clinic of Greenville for their love, compassion and kindness during Seal’s final journey. Also, many thanks to Ann, Ingrid, Janet and Cathrine for their beautiful memorials.

Seal was the bestest! You know how much I loved that sweet baby girl. I am heartbroken she is on the other side now with all our angels. I hope to be able to meet her someday when I get to the other side. She could not have asked for a better home during her time here on earth, and I know how much she loved you all. Please hug Simon lots for me. I know he is going to be so sad for a while. Hopefully she will come visit him like Brian visits Kiki.

I’m sorry; I didn’t think my first post went through. It seems I’ve had a weepy day for various reasons and my eyes are blurry. Heh… Just know I’m sure Brian will take good care guiding Seal around the rainbow’s beauty.
I’m just now catching up with everyone. My heart aches for your loss. I wish I could give you each a hug in person. Seal was amazing and I’m going to miss seeing her.
I’m so sorry for the loss of your beautiful sweet Seal. Sister Saturday with Seal was a post I always looked forward to. Love, hugs, and healing purrs to all of you and an extra hug to her brother Simon.

We are in deep shock! We cannot believe that beautiful, gentle Seal is no longer here on earth. Her time here was much too short. It seems to be be blow after blow these days.
May you be comforted by the knowledge that she is now made young and purrfectly healthy again, and that, some day, you and she will be together once more.

Seal was such a special part of your clowder, and I know her passing leaves a tender space behind. She and Simon shared a bond that will never fade. Oh Terry, I just read the comment you left on my post and I am so very sorry. Such a beauty. It is always so hard to lose a loved fur. Just like with THE KING, I miss him all the time and hated to see his life come to an end but I knew when I had to let him go. They always give unconditional love and really never expect anything in return. My heart, thoughts and hugs to you and Seal’s mom.
