Feline Friday Friends with Titan and Simon

Come help Simon boys!

Simon is still very sad that Seal went to The Rainbow Bridge. I am doing my best to help him feel some better but I’m not sure it is working. I will keep trying though, we all love our Simon. We’re joining in on Feline Friday hosted by Messy Mimi’s Meanderings and it is simple to join. All you have to do is: Post a picture, drawing, cartoon or video of a cat (They may be silly or cute).

Hey, we can’t believe that y’all aren’t playing the Name the Nine Contest. A lot of work went in to making it fun for you. Get on over to Zoolatry and play the game please.

  1. Some seem to think our animal friends lack emotions, but most of us know they overflow with love, affection and so much more ~ not just for their human companions, but for the furries they spend so much of their lives with. Simon will come to accept with time, as all his family supports him, he’ll do so in his own way.
Also, thank you for the reminder of our NAME THE NINE contest, it really is not as hard as some seem to think it is … blogspot is having an issue with comments today, but any can enter by emailing us.

  2. I mentioned in Katie’s blog yesterday regarding Robin, and as you already know anyway, almost as constant as you, or any of us in the same situation~ can make a lot of physical contact with Simon that may help, i.e. holding him frequently, snuggling him warmly while holding, talking low in his ear for awhile while petting, smooches, warmth, by holding him close…it worked for her. ;-) xx

  3. Titan, grief is a challenging emotion, and you’re being a wonderful brother. Sending hugs and kitty kisses to you all. ❤️

  4. Titan, you have a giant heart. Thank you for trying to help Simon feel loved. We think Seal is watching over all of you. XOX Xena, Lucy and Chia

  5. Mornin’, boys – Titan, your concern and love for your brother is heartwarming. It’s very hard losing a loved one; the physical bond is no longer there, but the spiritual connection lives forever. I empathize with you, sweet Simon. Hugs to you all.

  6. It takes time. Toulouse still misses his best friend Thomas and you can see it in his face. All we can do is love them.

  7. I got distracted and didn’t get back to leave a note. Oh, poor Simon, I feel for you sweet boy. I know how much you miss your sister, Seal. I remember how distraught my Shadow was when we had say “goodbye for now” to her sister, Callie. I remember being very worried about her and finally having the vet run blood work, a fecal, and urinalysis on her. The good news was that she was very healthy. But the poor girl would just mope around. I kept Ducky home from daycare to try to lift her spirits, and eventually it worked – along with extra love & attention from Sam and me. So, I send you, your fur siblings, and your humans much love and gentle hugs of comfort.

  8. You’re such a sweet fur-iend, Titan. Pets mourn just likje humans do; we hope Simon’s heart heals from the loss of his pal.

  9. Titan, you’re a kind and loving brother to comfort Simon. We know he appreciates you so much.

We’re trying our very hardest on Naming the Nine. We’re currently stumped on two of the kitties!
