Simon Talks About the Potty Break

It's Potty Time!

Hey gang, how goes it with you? Me? I’m okay, even though I thought the noise was over, we had some more noise on Saturday evening. I know Titan mentioned it yesterday so I’m here with the scoop. Now then, about my blog post title, that’s not totally accurate. It should really read that the Potty Broke!. Oh, it wasn’t one of your potty boxes, it was one of the Mom and Dad’s potty boxes. The other day when the box was flushed it didn’t fill back up. The Dad said “no problem, I can fix it!” MOL! Well, the Dad fixed it alright, it would stop filling up, even when the water was turned off. Yikes! It was noisy too and as if that wasn’t noisy enough the Dad had to call a plumber, on a Saturday night. The dude was nice but it wasn’t quiet. We all handled it well though and were out n’ about pretty quickly after the plumbing human left. See all y’all soon!

  1. Those plumbing issues always seem to crop up on a weekend or a holiday.
It’s happened here more than once on those kind of days too, and one just cannot leave it till the weekdays start, UGH! One time the water softener decided to flood our basement, and another time the washing machine drain pipe was clogged…with a dead bird if you would believe that, even the plumber was surprised…it turns out there was an outside air exchanger/vent for the plumbing, and there was no cover on it, oopsie!

  2. Uhoh…..potty issues for humans seem to be a lot more complicated than for cats. More expensive too!! Hope all is well in the flushing department this morning……….!

    Hugs, Pam and Teddy

  3. Mom did the same thing your dad did not too long ago, Simon. Our potty wasn’t working correctly either and she thought she could fix it. She should have called the plumber right from the start!

  4. Simon we all know you can’t let the water just keep running can you. Sorry it had to be so late in the evening for everybody for it to get fixed. But I know that that it’s rather quiet around the house.

  5. oooh we know that moments… and now the origin of the work potty break is clear… if it breaks our world is in the potty…

  6. Ugh, it’s easier to replace kitty litter boxes. Lol. I’m glad all’s well that ends well, though admit I’m chucking over your dad’s repair. Full points for trying, I would not have dared, since most of my attempts at “fixes” don’t go well. 😆

  7. I hate it when the human potty box isn’t working right. I’m glad it’s fixed and I’m sure it was very expensive to fix.

Have a fabulous day and week. Scritches to the kitties, a smooch to handsome Simon and my best to the peeps. ♥

  8. Charlee: “It seems like those human toilets are always flushing themselves or not flushing themselves or running forever. I don’t know why they don’t just have a room with litter all over the floor. So much less complicated, so many fewer moving parts, no wasted water!”

  9. The horror … plumbing problems on a weekend. We sure hope everything is working properly now. Simon, you totally blend right in with that cat tree. If it wasn’t for your magnificent eyes, you would be totally camouflaged.
