Hello everyone, it’s me Maxwell and I’m here for Angel Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Thanks to you all for stopping by. We are always thankful to each of you for joining us! Each and every Thursday we share the things for which we are most thankful and we always enjoy reading all of the things you are thankful for too. If you are new to Angel Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, thanks for hopping in, we really do get excited when new blogger pals join us!
Today I’m thankful for Stranger Things! How’s that for a cryptic statement??? Let me explain a bit. Stranger things are somebody knocking at the front door, the front door opening, strangers coming and going, noises, loud ones, that we’ve not heard before, voices we haven’t heard before. You get the picture. When those happen we run and hide. There have been so many stranger things happening here with a new roof, new windows and plumbing problems that we would go and hide and maybe come out hours and hours after the noise stopped.
I’m not saying that we are okay with these things, but now instead of coming out hours and hours later, most of us come out a lot quicker, like under 30 minutes. Oh, there are some stragglers, but even they come out within the hour, for the most part. I’m thankful that we are learning that when the noise is gone the danger is gone. I have a feeling we’ll have more experiences coming our way, but we’ll tackle them as they come. What are you thankful for today? Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.

It sounds like you’re all getting accustomed to and braver about those stranger things, Maxwell. We’re so proud of you!
Maybe someday you won’t even think you have to hide from a stranger unless a scary noise starts. After all, not all strangers make weird noises. For now, though, I’m glad you all feel safer, sooner.
That is good that you are getting less stressed from all those comings and goings. They are becoming a part of your ‘Normality’!
You look good in your cubby, Maxwell!
Well at least you all know by now that when there’s a doorbell sound or a knocking at the door the “noise” that follows doesn’t threaten you – just hide in your many cozy spots and wait for the quiet to come back…..which it always does! Most of the time the noise the strangers make means some kind of “fix up” for your home or yard. The quiet WILL return. Life gets peaceful again (for a while anyway!).
Maxwell, we are grateful for one last day of warm weather and it’s dry today. The rain comes back tomorrow and the temperatures now will drop. I would have liked to have seen all of you creeping out of your hiding places. One at a time as you made sure the house was quiet.
You guys are getting savvy about the noise. It doesn’t;t always if ever, mean danger, And, if it seems scary…it goes away and your parents are always there. Now, me, Angel Katie, was always all over whoever came. Especially if it was a man. With three bothers, I loved men…
At first I thought you and your siblings were watching that Netflix series called Stranger Things. If you get scared with people in your house that show will really scare you with all the monsters in it. BOL!
That’s a good thankful, Maxell. Maybe eventually you’ll all just get used to banging and other loud noises. We have! (Of course, Mommy kept giving us treats every time it thundered!) XOX Xena
Bless your itty bitty kitty hearts. I’m not much for having strangers in and out either but for the most part they are nice
I am very late for impawtant blog visits, today was grocery, gym then home to meet a painter to get some estimates on power washing outside and making some repairs.
Hugs Cecilia
Hmmm…could it possibly be that coming out sooner has to do with hunger, haha? Yes, it is unnerving for kitties to hear and see such weirdness in THEIR territory but think about how nice it is to SEE out of new windows!!
You’re all very brave, sweet Maxwell and we believe that it’s getting better😺 Peachy is like you, but because Faye isn’t so scared, Peachy is coming sooner too..see…it only takes one to get you over it…in time of course😹Double Pawkisses for a Happy Day to all of you🐾😽💞
Maxwell, you’re getting so brave! It’s wonderful to see you and the others learning that the noises don’t mean danger. Soon those stranger things won’t feel so strange at all. Happy Thankful Thursday! 🐾
We have a long list of thankfuls this week, the most important is that C.J. has gained almost two pounds! Happy to hear things have finally quieted down at your house. Please share … I still hide, for hours, and hours. We don’t have strangers often, but I’m a real scaredy-cat and seem not to be able to get over it, sigh. All advice, counsel accepted, meowz.
We had a lot going on for a few days. Dandelion adores company, Polly is becoming a bit bolder while folks are still here, and I think Terra has been coming back out from hiding a bit sooner. Baby steps, right? ~grin~ Be well!
We’re glad you guys are getting used to the ‘stranger things’ even if you still don’t enjoy them. Your Mum and Dad will always protect you guys. Just remember they’re fixing up the house for everyone to enjoy.

A little bit of noise and clatter day after day can make one forget about noise and clatter, Maxwell.
Aren’t you a floofily handsome housepanther!?!

Uy. Les mando un beso.
Hi Max! We thought maybe your mom and dad were watching the show Stranger Things, MOL!!
We are glad you are not as scared now. <3
Now we need some more stranger things, don’t we? Practice makes perfect :-) Very soon you guys would all come out and greet the strangers!!

You look good in your cubby, Maxwell!
Becoming used to a bit of noise is no bad thing, just be alert young man.
I’m glad you are getting more used to noise and don’t hide for as long. Good for you!
Oh Maxwell, it’s so good to get used to all the comings and goings happening in the house! Less anxiety always helps!
Humans are sometimes stranger things!

You need some big dogs like us to bark and howl to scare those folks away!
You have had so many stranger things happening lately that, maybe, they’re just quite that strange anymore!
You always do a great job hosting, Maxwell!

You are all very brave. Hope you don’t have to deal with many more though. :) XO
Me again- thank you for hosting. Sorry, I forgot to write that in the last comment. I still don’t have enough coffee in me to be awake.:)
You are all becoming braver! That’s a good thing, but we hope the strangers go away soon.
Soon the strange and scary noises will be all gone, Maxwell!

Mornin’, Maxwell – Well, I’m thankful that you and your brothers and sisters are adapting to stranger noises.

Same thing happened here when we had so many folks coming in and out all day. It’s normal. I’m glad you’re handling it much better.
Have a fabulous day and rest of the week. Scritches to the kitties, a smooch to Simon and my best to the peeps. ♥
I sure thought you were talking about the show. lol
You’re becoming conditioned to the chaos!
It’s pretty quite here.
